I have a pre-existing medical condition. This company claims to help you out with the medical bills. They say you are only responsible for 30% of the bill. When I presented the paperwork to my doctors, they said that this was a binding contract and they will not sign with this company, because there is no guarantee that they will be reimbursed.

After signing up with CHBA and calling them, they say the patient is responsible for paying 100% of the bill up front and that they can work out a payment plan with the doctor, but not until after the bill is paid for in full can you submit a claim form and they will issue you a refund check up front! Who has hundreds of dollars to pay up front??

All of my doctors have said that when they read the paperwork, they say this company is bad news. When you first sign up with the company, you are told that all the doctor has to do is call a hotline and it takes 60 seconds for the doctor to be approved. There is a lot more to it than that. This place is a fraud, immoral, and unethical! They should be put out of business for telling people who are chronically il that they are there for them, when in reality, they are only there for them after the bill is paid in full!!!!!!!!
