This came from a credit card application I must have filled out online. They said I would get an unsecured visa or mastercard with a credit limit of $2000.00. All they needed was my bank information for verification purposes. My bank contacted me today, saying that a company was trying to electronically withdrawl $299.00 from my checking account. I went to the bank and found out the company name. The bank suggested to me that the best thing for me to do is close my checking account immediately and open a new one.
After getting home I did some research on this company and found out they operate under many business names and there are a lot of unhappy people who never recieved the credit card they were promised. I fortunately am one of the people who they did not get money from thanks to my bank watching out for me. I caught it in time but this still created a major headache for me. Now I have to change my direct deposit from my employer. I have to change my automatic withdrawl for my car payment, my insurance company, my online provider, etc.
I am filing this report so that hopefully it will save some people in the future from getting ripped off by this company which clearly is a SCAM. Stay away from them, if you have bad credit and are offered a credit card with an unbelievable limit and fantastic interest rate, don't believe it. It really IS too good to be true. Run the other way, hang up on them, tell them never to call you again, what ever you do, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BANK ACCOUNT INFORMATION!

Yes, Way Mr. Nova Sco... You work for this company

Well it is apparent and very obvious that you work for them, Mr. Nova Sco, Canada. Yes them. The company if based out of Canada. Why would you be on ripoffreport.com rebutting to something that has nothing to do with you. The answer is very plain. You work for this company or another one and you are just angry that people are getting help. Just another attempt to through hard working people off. You reply needs to be deleted. Canada is the home of a few of these scams. They set up as if they are businesses in the US. Hang up the phone when Mr. Canada calls.

Wow, Reading your so "inspired comment" there is no basis for your rebuttle. From every indication you have said in your comments, you have never talked to this company nor do you know what they offer, so why do you put your two cents in?? Possibly you're a worker of this fraudulant company just hoaxing again. Relentless? And if you don't work for them, then come on, if you weren't in contact with the company, then don't say a thing!

No way!

There is no way under God that this company you're talking about could get into you're account without you're permission. There is no way any company could.I'm sure they recorded your agreement, and told you what they were doing. You ended up cancelling your account because you didn't want they offered you, or didn't have enough money for it.
The only way they could access your account is if you gave them all you info-routing#, account#, cheque #. Did they tell you to void a cheque? That's how you do a draft over the phone, or on the net. Your bank contacted you,but only after the draft didn't go through, right? If it had,I'm sure your bank wouldn't have thought twice about it. I'm sure they would think you were smart enough not to write cheques if you didn't want them to go through.
No company is going to offer you something for nothing.
