Consumer Product Services, Warrantech Refused to Provide Contractual Service Newark New Jersey

Beware of Extended Product Warrantee scam from Consumer Product Services (Parent Co; Warrantech Corporation [OTC:WTEC]). This (non)service is often promoted by seller of electronic equipment including IdealAV.com (Aka's: Let's Go Digital, Dealznet.com, LGD Superstore.com, Pricesrite.com).
When you require warranty service, CPS requires multiple, unachievable, gauntlets including;

- Their warrantee card

- Their warrantee (gee thought they might have a copy of this on file)

- A copy of the original electronic vendor's invoice (wasn't asked for this as I paid for their warrantee)

A punitive regimen, unless you are as diligent a record retainer as I. But nooooo, this wasn't sufficient' to warrant CPS contractual service contract for a paltry $20 part. They inform the vendor's invoice must include the original amount paid for the television. Problem is, the electronic vendor (above) provided an invoice with all info EXCEPT THE PRICE! Sooooo, seller of CPS' warrantee provides an invoice which both know will DISQUALIFY service requests likely to occur years later. Incredulous, amoral Cretans.
