Beware! If you receive an offer from Consumer Research / Product Test Panel . com for a free - whatever. It could be a digital SLR camera, TV, who knows. These people are scammers. Out and out scammers. They exist for the sole purpose of ripping people off.

I "bit" on their bait - a "free" Canon SLR Digital Camera. I need one, actually. I am getting back into photography after many years, and need new equipment. And .. have very little money right now. So, they got me.

You fill out endless questionnaires. You answer endless "optional" offers. You read all the fine print. Or, so you think.

Don't do it. NOTHING will happen. Nothing. Except your credit cards will get charged and ripped off. You can't contact the company. It's impossible. Even two of the offers, which I thought were on the up and up ... from Netflix and Onlingo - both scams. Read the fine print on those.

Fair warning to all. Caveat emptor. Don't even try it. You WILL be burned. It's a sad state of affairs. Apparently this company has been getting away with this criminal activity for years, and, apparently, no one can stop them.

Shame on you Consumer Research / Product Test Panel.com of Columbia, South Carolina. For that matter, shame on South Carolina for letting it continue.
