Consumer Reward Network ripoff Canoga Park California

On 8/16/05 at about 8:30am I rec'd a phone call from a place called "consumer reward network". The caller stated that my # was choosen to be rewarded a $500 shopping spree for any store of my choice, however I choose to spend it.

The caller asked all my bank info and assured me it would only cost $4.95 for the package that would arrive in 5 business days. $4.95 was all that was required to pay wheather I used the discpunt medical package or not after the 10 days free trial date.

He stated there was a problem in the line and would call me right back in about 10mins. In the meantime I got on the computer and found out that this was a ripoff company,but by then he had all my info. I immediately contacted the bank and then called him back he stated they were not in the ripoff business and that there was nothing that he could do bercause I was not in the system yet and that he would try to flag the account.

Now I am reading to this man the info I see on the internet. I repeatedly state to him that he better not touch a dime of my money or I would sue him for all I could. I told him that I was going to call the FBI and file a report. He again assured me that they were not a ripoff company.

I guess what really upset was the fact that he called me I didn't find him or asked for what he was selling. The other thing anything too good to be true most likely is not true.
