At the end of May a man named Joe Foster representing Comsumer rewards network and WALMART.

Told me that I was selected to receive a 500.00 gift certificate that I could use toward anything at any of the 100 walmart stores just like cash.

Walmart was promoting new products and wanted customers to try them, all that would be expected of me was the $ 4.95 for s& H.

He told me over and over again I would not be charged a cent more and to stay on the line because someone was going to verify that I agreed and the information that I would hear is only for info purposes and not to take note of them as it was just for free trials of three different co companies.

Movie mega, Health network and Networks. Three or more times telling me I would not be charged anything else that if I chose not to keep them just cancel before the end of the trial. He also said the the certificate would arrive in 2-4 days and the my checking acct would not be debited until the bank calls me to confirm and then calls them back to ok the $ 4.95 transaction.

I received the MEga movie package and opened it a saw that everything the said was not true so I immeditately called them after three times them saying their system is down I finally spoke to a live person. I said I wanted to cancel now and was assured I would not be charged. The next day I looked at my accout and I was charged two charges of 4.95 and one for 119.90 I called and again speaking to a rep that I could hardly understand as english was not their first language. I told them that they had no right to take the amounts out of my acct except the one charge of 4.95 I was told that the amount are non refundable and would not let me talk to any manager.

Finally, told me that the 119.90 would be sent to me in the form of a request refund form and that I would have to fill out and send back.

I called again and asked for their address and asked how they were associated with Walmart, the lady said "well if you sign up you will receive a $ 500.00 Shopping spree" I asked her" shopping spree or rebate?" She admited it was a rebate. I said a rebate is not a shopping spree. She refused to provide info on Consumer Reward Networks address. Although they give three or more numbers to these other so called free trial companies it is all the same company.

This company should be stopped and Walmart should as well be held responsible for allowing the affiliation.
