Contact Messaging Systems LLC ILD Billing Services Added Services that I was not aware of Clearwater , Florida

I found out that Contact Messaging Systems LLC had been addding a charge of $49.95 per month to my corporate AT&T phone bill for the last 12 months.  I contacted them to inquire what the charges were for and they indicated that an employee of mine had authorized the charges for a membership that offers discounts on computer and phone servicing and repair.  I advised them that I am the owner and would not be needing these services as I have maintenance contracts on my equipment and already have a computer technician that I have used for the last 10 years.

When I asked them why they would allow a receptionist who answers the phone to authorize such charges they indicated that they had a recording of the conversation.  I listened to the recording and they did have the voice of my employee answering "yes" to all of their questions.

I asked my employee (who is very loyal, trustworthy and been with us for years) about it and she believes someone contacted our office to verify our address and she did confirm it over the phone.  She did think it was kind of strange that they needed her complete name and birthday to confirm the address. 

Our guess is that they actually took her "yes" answers and cut and pasted a phone conversation that was totally different than what had occurred.  The recording had questions like, "Are you authorizing us to charge $49.95 on your AT&T phone bill?"  Our receptionist knows that it would not be in her authority to do such a thing especially when she knew they are not even something we would be interested in.
