Continental Express Moving - Fast Lane Move Gave estimate of $220 - would NOT unload until I paid 1,013.00 CASH Fremont, California

I hired this company based upon good communication by individual named 'Chris".

Truck came (beat up and unfit) and immediately ran out of gas. I drove driver to Ace for gas tank then a gas station to get diesel. While gone, the other two began to 'wrap everything' in sight.

promised wardrobe boxes, they said "they got wet".

they packed evrything, despite me telling them NOT to carry ones that said,"lois Only". They used large boxes (and charged me about $18.00 per box) for things like a lampshade.
This happen multiple times. told me that it was "the law".

estimate was $220 - when I moved in the coast for the same items was $400.00.

truck broke again, for 3 hours. they did not call. a pilot helped them, again, gas or lack of was the problem. i sat at new address crying.

arrived 4 hours later. refused to unpack until paid in cash-would not accept credit card until hour conversation;i had no more money!

after unpacking, 30% of goods were broken; some valued at $2,000. they did not finish the packing of about 20% of goods.

called supervisor, said he would call back, never happened. looked up on yelp and was sickened. one of the movers was a former inmate in jail. missing property as well.

would like to pursue a class action suit. planning to take to court as my possessions came from around the world;can not be replaced. driver was rude and scared me, as a single woman. asked several times if there was 'a man' in the picture.

need/want help. not acceptable, untruthful and rip off artists at large.
