Continental Warranty - high pressure. Extended Auto Service Contract

I experienced high pressure sales. I received repeated phone calls, morning, noon and night.

They build the suspense for the rate quote and I was told I must accept immediately, or the rate will automatically be higher.

They tell you it's just a deposit (for the full amount) but you have 30 days to review their policy.

Got four calls, within minutes, from same supervisor, after I requested they remove my name from their calling list. They just wanted another chance to "explain".

They may have a good product. Read other "ripoffreport" and "complaints.com" entries for more points of view. All I can say, is rather than focus on providing you info, it seemed they want to sell you now, and hope you don't cancel

but explain then lonnie, why your company has to have SOOOOOOOO much urgency on a vehicle that has more than 25,000 miles left of manufacturer's warranty or 3 years. whats 1 week going to change?

When I read a complaint like this I get a little frustrated, because there is no excuse for actions such as this.

I apologize and if you receive any more calls from my company please email me your phone number and the time of the call, I will make sure it never happens again. The email address is lpitts@continentalwarranty.net

We as a company have hundreds of people who decide against our product every single day, it's nothing personal, we cannot sell everyone. As a general rule we never call someone back after they hang up, I apologize that whatever agent you spoke with didn't follow the rule.

I of course think of calling us a scam or a rip off for having a aggressive and most likely immature sales person working for us is a bit harsh, but I cannot justify the action so I guess I will have to live with it.
