Continental Warranty Inc Scam Artists!! CONTINENTAL WARRANTY IS A TERRIBLE COMPANY WITH TERRIBLE PEOPLE Internet, Internet

I recently purchased a car last year with this continental extended warranty thinking that this is a good company with good faith. BOY WAS I WRONG!!! i paid almost 2,000 dollars for their gold service contract, which covers transmission, engine components etc. Recently my timing chain has been stretched out and the car is now at the dealer. I called continental and  asked if they cover timing chains under my contract? the service rep told me yes, and i would have to have the dealer file a claim with them. The dealer filed a claim, continental wanted the dealer to tear down my engine in order to physically inspect my timing chain. My car has been teared down, and someone was sent over to the dealer to inspect my timing chain. As soon as the inspection person arrived there he was blabbering about how the timing chain was not fully stretched and that the plastic housings that hold the timing chain were the main culprits.

I got a phone call from Continental shortly. The service rep specifically stated he had GOOD news for me. The "GOOD" news was that my timing chain was not fully stretched and the retaining clips that hold the chain were damaged. HOWEVER, they stated specifically " WE DO NOT COVER those parts and we cannot approve this claim because you timing chain seems fine!! MY timing chain is stretched!!! , and they are refusing to stand by their promise of covered items within the contract with B.S. excuses. I also have a broken motor mount which they do NOT cover as well. now i am looking at tear down labor, a new timing chain, and new motor mounts, this is now going to cost me 2,000 dollars !!!!!!! in repairs. I asked to talk to the supervisor and i was told he was on his break and that he would give me a call back. Its been a few days and i have not received a phone call.I could have saved my 2,000 dollars had i not purchased this warranty and use that for my repairs.

BEWARE!!! PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND DO NOT PURCHASE CONTINENTAL EXTENDED WARRANTY, THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS AND THEY DO NOT KNOW A THING ABOUT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!!! THESE PEOPLE ARE PROFESSIONAL SERVICE CONTRACT LAWYERS AND WHEN THE TIME COMES FOR THEM TO STAND BY THEIR WORD THEY WILL NOT!!!! TERRIBLE COMPANY THAT NEEDS TO BE OUT OF BUSINESS!!
