I applied to them on Craigslist. They seemed legit , when I spoke to them over the phone. Facebook/LinkedIn and a credible looking website. A few days before my " interview", I looked up their address and suite, and two more names popped up-Vigor Concepts and Atlantic Consulting. The websites were very similar, and this seemed funny. I went to the interview, since the location was somewhat close to me, just to verify. I saw that the buidling had a for sale sign, and there was a paper sign saying " Cooper Concepts" by the elevator when I looked through the window.
There were no prompts for which buzzer to dial, so I called the HR number that was listed on the email. It said te number was out of service. That was enough for me, so I left. This is email I initially recieved

Cooper Concepts, Inc. is located in the Lincoln Park neighborhood at 2232 N. Clybourn Ave, Suite # 400 Chicago, IL 60614. The address on our building can be hard to see from the street, so please look for a brick building with blue awnings, across from the intersection of Clybourn Ave and Greenview Ave. Also note if you are driving there is free street parking on Clybourn and Greenview near our office.
When you enter our building take the elevator to the 4th floor and walk straight down the hall and into our office. Thank you for your time today, and we look forward to meeting you soon!

When you google our address, you will find other businesses that have been here prior to us. Most addresses, both commerical and residential, are going to have previous tenants, unless the building is brand new. We are not affiliated with these companies and are only subletting space from them.
Our office building is not for sale, but does have offices located inside the building that are currently up for lease, which is why the building owners have placed a "For Lease" sign on the building's awnings outside. If you contact the number on the sign, you well see that our office (Suite 400) is not one of the those offices currently for lease.
Unfortunately at this time, our office does not have a glass plaque with our company name on it inside the office building directory. We have actually reached out to our building maintence a few times requesting that it be mounted. In the meantime, we have placed a paper placard in the open slot to make people in the building aware of our suite information.
The buzzer located outside of the building is for after hours use. Our office doors are unlocked during normal business hours so there is not a directory for the buzzer outside of the building. Also, our office number is not out of service or disconnected. Feel free to give us a call.
