I met up with Sean on the 23rd of January. (2012) I showed him a service manual for the car I was going to start working on.
I said, "the manual says to thread 8mm stock into the holes provided and that will remove the sticking hubs."
"I'd feel better with a puller if I need it," I continued. He replied, "It's a bit spendy at $140.00,  but it's no problem if you don't need it or use it, I'll buy it back from you." Well the manual was right, hubs popped right off.

So a week later I called Seans' Business...got an answering machine. I reminded him(his machine) of his money back offer. I also said that I would understand if there were restocking fees....
Week goes by...
no response.
So I go to his/Cornwells' Facebook page. I remind him of his money back offer...
no response.
I text Cornwell customer service about a month into this and hey guess what...
no response.
I've been twistin' wrenches all of 40 years...
None of my other tool reps or tool manufacturer ever treated me this poorly in my life.
"I got "Cornholed" by Cornwell!!"
"It's the last tool I'll ever buy from "BOZO" and Company!"

this comment on Sean Fenton being a ripoff is UNTRUE, customer is sour grapes

AUTHOR: Robert - (United States)

POSTED: Wednesday, April 10, 2019

I will take this comment space to state that Sean Fenton is the most ethical tool rep in Western Washington. This is not a maybe, IT IS ABSOLUTE. First, the fact that Sean even offered to buy back a tool is UNHEARD OF. Any technician would not expect this. It costs money to buy the tool, ship it, and then be stuck with it if it doesnt sell, the person asking for the tool should respect that. FURTHERMORE, I have been a customer of Sean's since 1999, and I am here to tell you, he provides a service to his customers that is UNMATCHED.

All that being said, I will blindly observe that the person making the complaint should rethink this and realize they are just "butt-hurt" and this is probably of their own making. I will also observe that if they want to buy tools and NOT keep them, maybe they should use AMAZON from now on.
PROFESSIONAL TECHNICIANS BUY THEIR TOOLS AND DONT BURDEN OTHERS WITH THEIR CAREER CHOICES.
