Corporate Acquisitions I'm embarrassed to admit that these crooks scammed me out of $5665 up front fee deposit Las Vegas , Nevada

Just read all the posted reports regarding this company..... Corporate Acquisitions (CA). Unlike the others who report that they didn't get taken, I'm embarrassed to admit that these crooks got me. They scammed me out of a total of $5665 in so called deposit fees and never performed. What got me was that they had references that seemed so legimate. I called two different clients who confirmed that they had sold their timeshares through the company so I sent in a $1680 deposit. The original CA rep who had provided the references and confirmed the deposit receipt then contacted me and informed me that I would be contacted by the process rep who would be coordinating my purchase by the Corporation who was interested in my unit. I was told by the new rep that an additional $3985 in fees were required for document prep and closing, all of which would be refunded in my final purchase price. I was very upset about the new requirement. I called the references again and they confirmed that they had had the same concerns but had gone ahead with their transactions and everything was completed as described. With what seemed to be legitimate conformation, I went forward with the additional deposits.

As soon as they got my money, everything went into excuse mode with one delay after another being used to take a promised 60 close and drag it out for another four months. I called each of the references two or three more times.....they reported experiencing similar longer than promised closing periods but they continued to endorse the process. Finally CA could not be reached and my original concerns were confirmed. Long story short......it turns out that the customer references were liars who were all part of the scam. What appeared to be too good to be true was just that and I feel very foolish because I should know better. Hopefully my confession here will help others. Do not send them any money. If you have been scammed as I have, I would love to compare our stories and determined if together with others we might find others and together some recourse or at least put these scammers out of business.
