I ordered a "lifetime access" training package from Corporate Training Materials to help my small company create and deliver additional training programs to my client.

I was told over several emails that I would have lifetime access and that there would be "no annual fees" for the materials that I was ordering. I paid $1497 for these materials.

Several months' later, Corporate Training Materials changed their financial model to an additional fee of $699 to now have "lifetime" access which is what I had originally purchased. They have removed access to the promised training materials on their website, so I cannot even get the remaining programs that I initially paid for.

This company is using a typical "Bait & Switch" by selling one thing, then attempting to charge an additional fee to access what I have already paid for.

I have suppplied several emails back and forth between myself and Mr. Seth Rozee of Corporate Training Materials and he is claiming now that I did not purchase what I thought I did. NICE TRY Mr. Rozee, however, there are some people in this world that do not lay down and allow companies to walk over them.

As a small company, I would have NEVER purchased a program that would have required me to make an additional several hundred dollars purchase a year +/- later...

All I am asking for is access to what I have paid for, nothing more. However, they have refused that request.

IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO BUSINESS WITH THEM, BEWARE of the "Bait & Switch"... I would recommend that you DO NOT do business with them. Find a suitable alternative.

AUTHOR: Corporate Training Materials - (USA)

This complaint is completely false and was written by a disgruntled client to try to force us to extend his access to our private client area. When we declined to do so, he threatened to slander us online.

In July 2013 our company did not have a "lifetime access" training package that Mr. Woodin could have purchased, that was added in February 2014.

Previosuly when you purchase our training materials you receive a lifetime license for the use of the materials you purchase. At that time we allowed customers 1 year of access to our client area which is user name and password protected, within this area, we add new courses every month. Which is what Mr. Woodin purchased in July 2013.

In February 2014 we changed the client area model so that clients could purchase lifetime access to it for an additional fee if desired. In July 2014 when Mr. Woodin’s year of access to said area expired, he was notified via email and was given an additional 30 days to download any courses that he had neglected to get within his year of free access. Seth Rozee, his account executive, gave him the option of purchasing lifetime access to this download area but Mr. Woodin replied stating that he believed he had lifetime access all along. When Mr. Rozee explained the model again, Mr. Woodin became angry. After a few exchanges between the two, Mr. Woodin threatened to slander our company across all possible websites unless he got what he wanted.

We have all Mr. Woodin's documents that clearly state that he had 12 months free access to our client area and after that time expired, so would his user name and password. We also have documented notes within our CRM that show verbatim, the exchanges between Mr.Rozee and Mr. Woodin.

Mr. Woodin still has the training materials that he purchased from our company and is still licensed to use them for as long as he likes but he does not have access to our client download area. He received all training materials that he purchased from us on a USB thumbdrive that was delivered to him by FedEx priority shipping.
