I have nothing against Corey Rudl (R.I.P.) or his Company in General... I think Corey was a smart man who knew how to make smart money. What I don't like is the fact that they tell you -- you get a "30 day trial" for something and bill you for everything 27 days after you order the program. I was ready to send everything back, as I was not impressed with a Program I purchased from them and little did I realize, they already billed me for this! I was also under the impression that It was $147.00 and apparently it was $194? So, not only did I get billed early, but I was billed more than expected and now I get an overdraft for that - and a pack of cigarettes I purchased the day my next check was going to clear...

I NEVER recieved an Invoice for the "purchase" of the "trial" through Email or Mail and I never recieved a Thank you Email, a "Congragulations" Email or anything of the such...

...I was also billed $10.00 for shipping rather than $4.00 what they showed on the site.

Maybe Corey's death brought too much attention to the Company and not enough people who know how to handle this? I thought Derrick Gehl seemed very smart, if not brighter than Corey himself, but something is going terribly wrong over there.

After 3 calls (all went to voicemail) and 2 Emails regarding this problem... I still have NO RETURN CALLS OR EMAILS!

I didn't want to put this up here - but I feel like this company has become a rip off lately. :-(

I am about to try the Internet Marketing Center course. I signed up for and was approved for the elite mentoring program. (Yes I to feel they use traditional time tested ACT NOW BEFORE YOU MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY techniques here) My understanding is that the 6500 dollars is for coaching to keep me from reinventing the wheel and making mistakes that others have made.
I am torn between feeling that it might be somewhat scamish and the many good things that I have read about it. As for the gentleman who already had a successful online business congratulations. I would be curious to know how much knowledge you already had in this field before you started. Have you spent and perhaps lost money in your learning process.
I am one of those people who is about to go further in debt in a desperate attempt to make life better for my family. I understand the concept of having to take risks in order to get ahead.
I have Corey's course in my hands and see that it has a lot of apparently (yet to be tested) good info that I with no experience should find helpful. Later today I should be making the payment (upfront!! am I crazy? or is this realistic) for the mentoring program.
As for the woman who tried and had a bad experience. Don't let bumps in the road knock you off course. I to could say that I have had a bad experience. For instance when I applied to be selected for the elite program no where did it talk about additional fees. It was kind of presented more like a sweepstakes where you might win the opportunity for one of these LIMITED ? positions. And then there was the bomb shell that the entire fee needed to be paid up front. My wife actually got so upset she cried a little. (She is actually a very strong and intelligent business woman but our money situation like many others is not great to say the least) It did not make me feel good about the whole situation, but there is still that nagging voice that asks after years of searching for something, could this work, or is there really nothing out there. I am really not an idiot. I am 43, have held a steady job for 20 yrs in the same field and have twenty five years in the Army Reserve. I worked my way up from the rank of private to Major and just returned from 10 months in Kuwait.
Wish Me Luck. Hopefully in about six months or so I will be able to return with a success story and hope for all of the others out there trying to make a better life for their families.

I have gone through the Mentoring/Coach program and I feel that it was worth my investment. I had a wonderful mentor/coach who was full of knowledge, encouragement, and patience. I was given tools and skills that I didn't even know existed. I was taken step by step through the materials and if I needed it, we backed up and started again.

My website is doing very well and is improving every month. I receive daily compliments about the appearance and ease of use.

What you get out of it depends on what you
put into it - it does take time, organization, thinking, and self discipline to follow through with the assignments. If I had to do it

I am a major internet seller, who owns a C-Corp. My company makes about half a million a year in sales profit.

I never heard of Corey Rudl, until I found his website via search. I contacted Corey Rudl's company through email, regarding interest in their elite program.

Basically, I know quite a bit about selling on the internet and making money. It appeared to me, on the surface, that maybe Corey knew a little more than I did. So, that is why I sent an email expressing interest in their elite program.

A couple days later, I received a call from an employee of Corey Rudl. Basically, she asked me a series a questions, to see if I would qualify.

All was going well, I was really getting excited that I might be one of the elite to learn from someone who has earned millions a year, instead of hundreds of thousands. Thats when she asked how much do you want to invest into this campaign? She said would $5000 be good? I am thinking to myself, $5000 is good, right, as I spend $4000 a month on eBay alone.. So, I said yeah, that sounds pretty good.

BUT, then, I asked her, what would this $5000 be for? She said it would be for just the coaching and training within the elite club. So, that sort of made me wonder why that much would be needed just for "coaching". All I needed was a couple pointers to go from hundreds of thousands to millions a year. SO, I was getting SUSPICIOUS. I am not one of those who easily falls prey to business scams. So, I started to ask more questions. I ASKED, "What EXACTLY will this money be used for?" She responded witht the same montra she said before, namely, "To cover the cost of coaching within the elite program and also a little would be used to help you get going". When asked about this Little to be used for advertising, she indicated it wasn't much at all, after prodding.

So, I came to the conclusion that this was either a scam or a bloated priced program. I am under the impression its a mix of the two. Sort of a legally legit business, but with prices over bloated, with little return on investment.

My challenge is that it sure did not sound like a worthwhile investment. FIRST, The problem I saw was that they did not really detail what the $5000+ was actually for. They just give you some basic statement that is not conclusive for those serious in investing in coaching or an elite program. When I pay eBay $4000 approximately a month, I know EXACTLY what I am paying for. SECOND, I did a test on the woman I had on the phone. I asked her what the price would be to be in the elite club, IF the customer had a TON of debt and just a normal job. She indicated that it would have costed about $8000 to $10,000 for a person in this situation. SO, if you are already in debt up to your ears, have just a normal job to pay the bills, they wanted $8,000+ to join the elite club. To me, this sounds like "take them for all they have" and then my question is what would occur to them after they had spent the $8000? So, she said that they did not want the customer to invest too much into coaching, as they want you to have SOME money to actually get your business going. So, if you are broke, they want $8000+ and that is only so you still have "some" money left to start your business after coaching. To me, that sounds like "WE WANT TO RIP YOU OFF". Maybe I am wrong, but I doubt people who have a lot of debt can afford $8000+ for coaching and then turn around and start a business with basically nothing left.

SO, you judge for yourself. Hearing the information I have provided here, do you think this sounds like a reasonable price? What about all those who have rated Corey's book on amazon echoeing the over priced for little mantra you keep hearing? They are saying it about his program, his books, and now I am saying it here for his elite club.

For the record, I did not sign up for his elite club, as she refused to go into more detail about what the money would be used for. She refused to allow me to talk to the next in the chain also. SO, I refused to sign up!

After receiving some of his newsletters on "Tips" for marketing, I found them to be VERY BASIC, OBVIOUS, and a waste of my time. Now, I have been selling for years on the internet and already make a lot of money, so this is partially expected. BUT, if he is going to claim that he has something of value, lets see it. So far, I have not seen anything.

My conclusion is that he made his MILLIONS almost exclusively selling this program on how to make MILLIONS. SO, he made millions telling you how to make millions, indicating that he has no experience outside seminars and telling you how to make millions.

SOME of his materials also seem to mimick ROBERT KIYOSAKI. NOW, Robert Kiyosaki is the REAL DEAL. I know this, as I have seen his principles work within my business. SO, if you are interested in ACTUALLY MAKING REAL MONEY, try Robert Kiyosaki's books, like Rich Dad, Poor Dad. This guy ACTUALLY MADE MILLIONS before writing books and had no incentive of money when he first started creating books as NO ONE wanted to publish them. He was simply making them, because he loves to help people. Most people in the world don't give a rats a$$ about others, so its expected that most who write these books, including Donald Trump are not goint to actually tell you how to get rich.

I can attest to the fact that some of the stuff in Donald Trump's new book are EXACTLY in the wrong direction for getting rich. He did this on purpose, as he does not want a bunch of competitors. Robert Kiyosaki, though, so far everything I have read of his is on track and has been proven to work in my own business. So, trust his materials before anyone else out there, including Donald Trump.

Daphane has a right to her opinion, but the marketing course is not crap and Corey Rudl is not a Con man. Please don't take my word for it though, check out [delete] for a sample of the testimonials we receive. If you are in any type of business you already know it's impossible to meet the expectations of every single customer.

No matter how hard you try, there will be rare occasions when 100% customer satisfaction is unattainable. The Internet Marketing Center pours allot of effort into delivering a powerful, current and intuitive course. Like I said before though, please don't take my word for it. We did experience some SitePromoter problems back when Daphene was given the software. We were just in the process of releasing the new version when we ran into some unexpected database issues. I think Daphene became really frustrated at this point, especially after the Domain Name issue. A technical case like the one she describes needs to be taken up with the registrar company we recommended. I would expect our support agents to contact the registrar company on her behalf.

Corey Rudl has intentionally over staffed his customer support team so he can more than meet customer expectation. That same mentality goes into our information and software products. With that said, we will mistakes just like any other company. Unfortunately, we will upset a customer from time to time, but we will always do our best to overcome the challenge or provide some level of compensation.
