This was the single worst moving experience I have ever had. First, I gave an inventory if what we had to move. It was very little as my husband and I had sold most if our stuff in anticipation of buying new furniture. They told me it would take about three hours. It took 10 hours and that is not including the three hours late they were. Which brings me to my second complaint - they were three hours late. They didn't even call to let me know and when I called them, they said the truck broke down and they were renting a U-haul. Despite this, they showed up three hours late in their own truck (that had Moving Stars, Inc. written on it ... that is their real company name).

The movers were beyond unprofessional. They disappeared with the truck twice. Each disappearance was almost an hour. I was terrified that they were pulled over somewhere stealing our stuff. They spilled something sticky all over our things. We are still finding sticky spots on random stuff almost three months later. Best of all, they damaged the walls of our brand new home (new construction and brand new paint) because of how carelessly and recklessly they moved our things.

They didn't wrap any of our furniture, which resulted in significant damage to our daughters brand new dresser among other items. When I caught them damaging our furniture twice they said "it was already like that" and "what do you want from me, it's heavy".

At the end, we were hit with hidden charges that we were never told about. When we called their office to complain, they asked us to submit a formal claim. We did that and heard nothing back for over two months, despite constant follow ups. Finally they scheduled a time for one of their repair guys to come to our house. I took off of work for that appointment and no one showed.

I am posting on here to warn anyone out there to avoid this place. It has been a terrible experience with lasting damage to our home and furniture.
