We contacted Costa Riviera Real Estate in 2011 during a 1 month vacation down in Puerto Vallarta. My wife and I wanted to buy a condo and were reccomended Costa Riviera by some local Americans in Bucerias. When we called the first person we spoke to was Colin Maruk and he seemed like a very pleasant guy so we decided to go ahead and view some homes. We loved the condos at Aqcua Flamingos and decided to go ahead and buy it. We wired the money to his account in winnipeg and he gave us a contract saying we were the owners but we still didnt have a title as the developer actually had screwed many people over and I believe up to date still has not given anybody titles. Turns out, a couple months passed and when we went back to "our apartment" in Acqua it didnt belong to us anymore and we were told that our contract was a fake and we were escorted off the property by security and they told us they would call the police if we tried to come back... that was it, money gone... we tried a lawsuit against Mr. Colin Maruk and we were never able to find him to serve him so it was over, we had been screwed by the Mexican system and Colin Murak.

I have investigated deeply because you people seem to always take advantage of our country. and it seems that this real estate company is complete bogus. If I am mistaken why dont you guys share your office address or public register company number with us. Come to our country and you make money and dont pay taxes? Go back to your own countries to steal you f*king gringos.

Mr. Colin Maruk also gave me the website http://www.costariviera.com/ where he appears as an agent. All our dealings with Maruk were done through Costa Riviera Real Estate and we even have a documents with your company name on it sent from Mr. Maruk, when the time is right you will see this evidence in a court of law.

The Ripoff Report posted July 10, 2013 implicating Costa Riviera Real Estate in a complaint regarding the Acqua Flamingos condo complex is incorrect and untrue. The complaint was unknown to us before the posting, and it is a mystery why our firm was included in the report.
To set the record straight, our firm has never represented a buyer or seller of real or personal property, either publicly or privately, nor received any funds for any matter regarding the Acqua Flamingos condominium complex. We consider this recklessly libelous Ripoff Report defamatory, personally and professionally damaging and the matter has been referred to our attorneys to seek immediate injunctive relief and compensation from the party posting the complaint.
