Costco Tire Center Costco Tire Not Honoring Their Warranty Yonkers, New York

I bought 4 Michelin tires from Costco at Yonkers, NY in 2006. The 4 tires carry 80,000 costco warranty. They got about 60K miles before they became "unserviceable," i.e., the tread depth <=2/32 inch. 

Costco however refused to honor the warranty on the ground that one rotation was done after driving for about 13K miles. But that happened because the Costco tire center refused to rotate the tires after driving for about 5000 miles. 

This is not the first time Costco finds lame excuses to refuse to honor their warranty. A few years ago they refused to honor the warranty on a different car with the excuse that the wear was not even. 

The conditions set in their warranty Terms and Conditions are vague and they are written so that it's almost impossible for any customer to satisfy the requirements to get warranty. In a word, their warranty is not worth a penny!
