I have several issues with Country-wide. It has been over three months and Country wide has not addressed my complaints. I received a Country-wide FHA refinance letter written by Doug Perry, Loan Consultant that offered two FHA loan offers to preferred Country-wide customers that if they called on May 8, 2004 which I did. The solicited offer was available. When I called on May 8, 2004, the offer was not available. See letter from Doug Perry attached. I feel that this letter is a bait and switch and false advertisement? I request my interest rate to be corrected to what was offered.

Country-wide also had eEasy rate reduction option available to change the interest rates. However, they would not allow me to change the interest rate using that option. Which allows fee googing. because they can charge more fees. I should only be charged the eEasy rate reduction option fees only.

I was told by Carlos Guevara that my refinance would be handled by a local office. The closest Country-Wide office is less than a half mile from my home. Instead of that office my refinance was handled by an office over 35 miles away from my home? When I saw how far the escrow company was I told Carlos that I did not want to use that company because it was to far.

I request that I use Southwest Escrow Company which is closer to my house. Then he told me that the escrow company had a mobile notary that they would send to my home for me to sign the documents. Also attached is my e-mail to Carlos Guevara requesting the escrow company be changed to Southwest Escrow or a closer escrow company. No one ever told me I would be charged for the mobile notary's service. Carlos did not tell me, I talked with several people at Alpha Escrow company and the notary herself. When she presented me with the slip for me to sign it did not indicate that I would be charged. In fact, she said she works for the escrow company and they pay her.

Country wide took $5.00 a month for several years for an insurance policy that I did not request. They could not provide proof of enrollment. The subsidiary company Triligiant only refunded me $15.00 for the last three payment. They owe me for several years of them taking the payment. The decription does not give a clear definition of what the $5.00 was for.
