covenant transportation will take 3 1/2 thats three and a half cents off the verified experinced pay rate that a driver signs on for claiming its the per-diem a national progam to non-tax half your pay mine was 34 cents per mile so covenant said they were taking 3.5 cents just to use the per-diems national program which is in place for the drivers at no charge i can honestly tell you that covenant at no time notified any driver in a 45 person orientation that they were going to do this
well i found this out buy the second week of working at covenant along with repair charges on there truck i paid for without prior notification when i asked there payroll supervisor she told me she didnt want to talk about that covenant is supported by the drivers money that is taken illeagaly
