I saw there add in the jersey journal news paper so i called..A lady name Gracia told me to come in for a interview, and bring $75 for a back ground check.When i got there Mr Powell promise me a job paying 10-15 dollors a hour, and a monday - friday shift..He then said all i needed to do was take the training class..I said ok, then he ask me for the $75 and i ask for my receipt..when i got my receipt it said i owe a balance of $304..Mind u they never told me nothing about paying more money..I The ask what is the balance for and he said its for the training and F.B.I finger prints.. I then ask him if i pay will i have a job.. He said yes,if i pay i will be working by july 23rd 2009..So after i paid him i went to the class and finish the training..Powell then went and gave me a placement day on friday july 24 when i got there a man name Mr Pollard came and gave me 2 referall forms to go for a interview in queens..When i went to queens the people at Defender securities acted like they dont know CP International.. I felt so bad.. So now every time i call C.P international nobody never pick up the phone... C.P INTERNATIONAL ARE CROOKS so please beware... WE ALL NEED TO GET TOGETHER AND STOP THESE CROOKS FROM TAKING OUR HARD EARN MONEY... ANY LAWER THATS SEES THIS PLEASE EMAIL ME (((REDACTED@GMAIL.COM))) IM GOING TO GET MY MONEY BACK IF ITS THE LAST THING I DO..

I saw an ad in craiglist that they were hiring. So I called them. Mr. Michael talked to me in a way that he himself was hiring people for his company. He asked if i had any certificate. I answered in negative. He told me they would provide certificate, just I need to bring $80 with me.

That day I went to them and didn't find Mr. Michael (why? I am not sure, may be nobody by this name). Another person talked with me and I filled up some papers and gave $80 to him. After that thay gave a non-commercial reciept where i still owed $299. At the time of interviewing I thought that I was alone to get this job. That's why I gave my money to them, though I was in doubt.

At the very first day of class I saw that I was not alone there, at least 40 people were there to get job. They all came seeing ad in craiglist. Alas! why I responded to them while other company do same training for $50 only.

However on the very 1st day after fire guard class they charged me that I already did the class why I didn't pay the rest amount ($299) yet. I told them that I had no money with me, so pay them later. I didn't respond later.

Basically, my mistake was I should talk to them before the class and charge for the money back, though it might not work, I know.

I was quite skeptical at first. I did my research after my first day of training, and found more complaints then anything. I was extremely uneasy. I reported the next day to the office @ 62 William St, 2nd floor, in the wall street area, i spoke to a Mr. Edwards ( which seemed to be very kind ) trying my best to get a refund. Being that I started training i wasn't able to get a Refund for the $698 i paid for training. I had no choice, so i resumed my training courses. By the way, the instructor, Duane, is a phenomenal guy, he was the only thing that brought me to comfort about this company.

My five days of training was completed. I was issued a placement day for the following week. I reported to placement, met with the "human resource director", Ken Pollard, which wasn't that nice of a guy, but i guess he was doing his job. He gave me a sheet of paper, and asked for me to report to an office in Midtown. I followed his orders. Spoke to a gentleman by the name of Mr. Singleton. Two days later i was asked to report to that same office, to pick up a set of uniform. I've been on site for the past two weeks, with a starting pay of $12.78. I'm actually surprised with the results of this company, although I expected higher pay.

In conclusion, My experience with this company wasn't that bad after all. If you're not comfortable with any organization, not just cp securities, but any other type of agency, DO NOT COMMIT
