CP Investors CP Investors Scam Internet

 I received numerous calls from a collections agency called Arrow Recovery based out of Skokie Illinois stating they had a file claim in their office. This was an attempt to collect on a debt I owed from a payday loan i made with CP Investors back in 2009. Since the bank account I had used which was from Bank of America was closed they needed me to settle this claim by paying in full or legal action would be taken against me. I called Bank of America and verified that I didn't have any accounts with them open or closed in 2009 or as far back as 2005. This recovery agency was very rude to me and tried to use scare tactics for me to pay them today over the phone. Or course upon doing my investigation on them I found out that the address they gave me i was not able to find them online at that address and come to find out I am not the first person to have been harassed for money I didnt have a loan out with this company CP Investors. I looked up this loan company a and called both numbers listed on their website. The first number was a recording that said for me to leave my name and number and the person would get back to me. The recording never stated who the person was or even mention that I had called CP Investors. It was just a male voice with no name to identify who I had reached. The second number I called i got an automated message to take a surgery to receive a free vacation for two to some destination. I had to take a survey only to finish and the automated message said I won a trip for two and then said thank you and good bye. Never once did I get to speak to a live person..Scam? I think so.
