CPMatrix SCREWED ME OUT OF $250....USED LAPTOP SCAM!!!! Austin Texas

 In Mid-May, nearly four months ago, I purchased a used laptop off ebay from CPMatrix for my son's 10th birthday.  I received it shortly thereafter, and in good working condition. However, it was not a good "gaming" laptop, so after several emails between myself and CP Matrix, I returned the laptop, paid about $50 more through paypal, and received what was supposed to be a perfect laptop for a "gamer". 

By the time the laptop actually arrived, it was already mid-July.  My son, excited to FINALLY get his birthday present almost 2 months later, opened the package and attempted to turn it on.  NOTHING!!!!!  ABSOLUTELY DID NOT WORK AT ALL!!!! I immediately emailed CPMatrix, and they replied asking me to try unplugging this and that and trying this and that, and then determined it must be the adaptor.  By this point, I told them I simply wanted to return the defective laptop and get my money back.  The ASSURED ME that they would send a new adaptor, and if that didn't work I could return the laptop for a refund.  This was end of July.

It is September 7 and I have emailed them SEVERAL TIMES about the adaptor which has NEVER ARRIVED, and have only received two responses.  The first said "We sent it, it should be there".  That was it.  After I emailed them several more times over a couple of weeks with no response, I finally get an email asking to confirm my address, and that the "staff had approved sending another adaptor".  STILL NOTHING for weeks.  After many more emails from me, getting angrier by the second, I get one last email, back in mid-AUgust, saying "it was sent with tracking this time".  That's it.  NO info on tracking number, no date sent or expected arrival date, NOTHING.  And NOTHING since.  I contacted ebay but as it is past 45 days, they can/will do nothing. 

PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM CPMATRIX!!!!!!  they start out very helpful and accommodating, and slowly SCREW YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY!!!  After reading a previous ripoff report on here from another SCREWED CUSTOMER, I believe they start out great but drag it out over 45 days so that nothing can be done on ebay and they can continue to SCREW CUSTOMERS OUT OF THEIR MONEY.  My 10 year old son still does not have a birthday present from me this year. 

DO NOT BUY CPMATRIX!!!! THEY SUCK!!!!
