I am responding to the letter I sent to Jim. Creative Curb Company is an honest company. The new owner Heather V. came and completed the job (Jan. 2015) that I had paid for in Oct. I met her personally as she was painting my curb and thanked her very kindly for coming to complete the job that I had paid for in advance. The previous owner Mr. Aguirre was in a serious car accident in Nov. and could not fulfill the work orders. Heather has noted on the company's Facebook page that she is catching up and completing all work orders. They are an honest company and did the job to my satisfaction. I am very pleased they resolved this situation in a positive manner.

I have a comment about this company. I have been trying since early November 2014 to receive the service that I paid for on Oct 31, 2014. Mr. Aguirre has not responded to my 2 e-mails requesting a refund for service not provided. This company seems to have excuses for not completing or beginning a job. It is ironic that when I first e-mailed Mr. Aguirre he said to be patient that they were delayed because of bad weather in early November. I gave him the benefit of the doubt. The next excuse for being delayed was an accident as noted on his facebook page for Nov. 13th. Then no further postings or updates. I sent another refund request letter on November 28th via e-mail and no response.

Today, I went to the facebook sight for Creative Curb Company and posted a comment that this company took my money and never came to paint my curb and that I haven't received a refund. Within 5 minutes my post was removed. I then noticed that customers waiting since November in other neighborhoods in Spring, TX who haven't even paid yet, they were going to get service on Dec 8th as someone from the company said they would come right over and no need to pay in advance. What happened to the customers that are still waiting from late October like me? Isn't it ironic that they help people who haven't even paid and yet take money in advance from people and never show up to do the job. They seemed to answer this request right away yet have failed to follow-up with me. This is one of the most unprofessional companies I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. My hope is that in writing this other people will know that this company takes customer's money without delivering service and will choose a reputable curb painting company in the Houston area. Very unprofessional, poor customer service, and follow-up too!

If you read my first report. I was wrong.   I am rescinding my original remarks. These people are hard working, honest folks.  A death in the family of the owner and and some additional family matters to address were the cause of the delay.  I now know the truth facts.

My curb has been painted and looks great!

My original complaint was erronous.  They were unable to complete the work for me due to a death in the family thus the owner was unavailable.  My order fell throught the cracks.  HIRE THEM.   Their work has top notch curb appeal.  We have resolved the concerns.

My recent misleading complaint was written before knowing all the facts.  I am rescinding my original statement.

The owner has been absent due to family death and other personal business, and their wonderful employees have been continueing to keep the company going.  They have addressed the situation of how my order slipped through the cracks and have sent a refund in full to me.

Since I now know all the facts, I would recommend these people for your curb painting.  Their work appears to be top notch and when they are in your area working - HIRE THEM.  Your curb will be the envy of the neighborhood.  When they are in my neighborhood again, I will HIRE THEM again.

Creative Ciurb contatced me and is sending refund.  Appears as though they had a death in family that had casued many months of delay.  Trust that God will watch over them during their trying times  I will update again, when my refund arrives.
