I had just paid off a collection company for a debt to Comcast which was from 2 years ago. Several weeks later I get a call from CCS that I own Comcast $70. When I finished paying off the original Comcast debt, I asked if this completely satisfified the debt, and she said yes. Me thinks CCS monitored the payoff and tried to piggy back on it.
