On July 15, 2008 while filling out a credit form for a separate online company, I was taken to a page by Credit Diagnosis. Thinking it was from the same company, I proceeded to fill out personal information (name, street address, credit card info etc), for a "FREE" credit report from all 3 major companies.

It was stated on their website that I would be charged $1.00 that would be refunded to me, thus making it free. I was able to view the credit reports, but immediately canceled the account the same day, so that I wouldn't forget to do it when the trial period ended. My bank account was charged with the $1.00 several days later.

I also noticed I had a $1.00 charge in pending, but thought it was because of something my husband had bought. Today, July 21, 2008, we noticed the charge was still on our account, so I called my bank to find out what it was. They informed me that it was a charge from AP9 YOURSAVINGSCLUB V 877 820 7107 *CT.

I was told the 877 820 7107 number was their phone number, and that I should call it. I called and got an automated voice service, asking me if I wanted to access my member details, wanted my member id number or if I wanted to cancel my membership. I had already canceled, but decided that I would cancel again just to make sure. I still wasn't satisfied, thinking that something was up. My husband searched the company on here and that is when I discovered how much of a rip-off, scam they were.

I immediately called my bank back, requesting that they cancel my card and issue me a new one. I was informed that they did that as we were speaking and to call the company back asking for a refund of the $1.00 - that I would be able to be credited but if they tried to charge anything else to my account it would be denied. The bank said that the information on this company was stated in such a way, that the bank could file a report, but they would get no where, it was up to the client. RED FLAGS everywhere.

I then called the Credit Diagnosis 800# and spoke with Maria ID#226872, who assured me that the account was canceled and that I would be refunded/credited the $1.00 and nothing else was to be charged to my card. I didn't, but I should have told her that I canceled my card. Please DO NOT fall for this company's scam. I guess I will have to wait and see if I am actually refunded the $1.00, or even the $2.00.
