Credit Line Gold Card Processing Cntr on caller ID. BIG rig off scam to et your checking account info Not Sure Florida

I got a call from this credit line gold card, He said they were opening an account for me for credit. They asked what kind of credit I had and asked what my bank name was. Then he proceeded to ask for my account info to verify I had an open account. Thats when i said I was not going to give him that info, he said well, when you write a check you give out that info, they have it on your check, I said yes but I know who they are, your just some scumbag trying to rip me off, and he hung up. He was real smooth how he did it, if your not aware of it, it would be very easy to give him the info. Never give info like that to anyone no matter who they say they are. Tell them to send some info out so you can take a look at it. They loose intrest fast, or just call them a scumbag, that works too.
