Credit Management Control Just Energy We were slammed into using Just Energy and after the contract ended was charge $50 for cancelling Green Bay Wisconsin

Five Years ago a sales team from Just Energy decended on my neighborhood. They promised a reduced energy bill. My wife signed a contract without doing any research. She is not on the title for the house and is not on the Con Edison account either.

I called Just Energy and Con Edison and was informed that there was nothing I could do about it and if I cancelled I would have to pay the full amount of the contract. I have waited patiently for 5 years to getr rid of Just energy.

I cancelled the contract through Con Edison and recieved a letter from the Credit Management Control recovery service

They stated I owed $50 and if I had any questions to call them at 866-844-2358, so I called this number. I spoke to the representive. I explained I did not know what the $50.dollars was for. That I never signed a contract with Just Energy.

She hung up on me. I was not upset, I was not disrespectful,I did not sign this contract. I do not know why I am being charged $50. I really want an explaination of the charge. If the contract ended in May and Con Edison discontinued on Apr 29th why am I being charged $50.dollars. I dont think this is fair. I dont think this is right. I dont think I should be hung up on for asking a simple question. I am writing my Atorney General, My congressman, my senator, The FTC and I will contact this company with a copy of the letters. I will not take being charged without knowing why.
