Crescent Jewelers Ripoff bait & switch Manteca California

Advertised HUGE sale....80% off PLUS 80% off already discontinued/marked down items. Diamond ring #818393 marked to $45.00 and when it was scanned I was told it was mismarked and it would be $180.00. When I complained that they must sell the price marked, they called the District Manager, Rudy Garza, who said he would let me have it for another price (higher!) I called the l-800 number on the front of their flyer and was told that the item must be sold for the price marked and to back to the store and they would call the employees and tell them I would be there. The poor girls were near tears when they told me when I again arrived at the store that their manager would not allow them to let me purchase the ring at the price written on the sales slip in the cabinet.

I called the District Manager and he asked me if I had hear of "human error" and that these mistakes happen. I asked him if he hear of "having to eat it" and then take care of human error to make sure it doesn't happen again. After much hot air was exchanged he told me that he was not selling the ring to me at the sale price and the price was now $245.00.
