Cresent Medical Research American Express Gift Cheque was signed in my name & bank account # Salisbury North Carolina

I had to have a colonoscopy,before I started the study to take their medicine. I went on Friday,May 23,2008,to have it done. Kim,the lady from the research,
was there, she gave me the papers, american express gift cheque, for the amount of 25.00,and a check for 65.00 from the research center,the american
express check was from Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp.(their phone number is 862-778-8300) I told Kim to hand it to my daughter in law, she did,this was right before the colonscopy was done. my daughter in law,and I looked in the gold envelope,that the gift cheque was in and it wasn't in there,I went to the bank and showed them what I got in the envelope and they said it was the receipt for the gift cheque,not the gift cheque,so I called American Express and asked if it had been cashed and they said yes. Some body signed my name on the front of it and on the back also and had my checking account
under my name,they said that is was my name and that was all they could do.

So I called Kim at the research center,(it was cashed at a Bank Of America), I don't do my banking at that bank, I have never been in a Bank Of America, Kim said right away that my daughter in law stole it,I know for a fact that she didn't take it, I know it was only 25.00, but somebody signed my name and I didn't sign it, I went and opened another checking account, and closed the one that was used to sign my name. I stopped going to the research center,and Kim hasn't called me to see why I quit.
