I would like to say that i have never been fired from a job since starting full time work in 1986. I have 10 plus years foreman experience. I have worked for Acklie for 8 years and was a foreman for 5 years. I was terminated for glueing a nickle to the floor, Screwing a pop bottle to a table and stupid stuff like that. I did admit to it but i also stated it hadn't happened in 2 or more years and that i had already been talked to about it. I was turned in by 2 personal friends of the shop managers years after it had happened. The shop manager was was retireing and put in for his retirement the morning of the day i was fired and never stuck up for me even though i had been doing his job plkus mine for the last 2 years. They closed the shop 3 weeks after my termination. I was fired without a verbal or written notice.

They not only damage my work record but they messed me out of a months severance pay. I have a written statement from the foreman before me who was demoted for basically the samething i was fired for. He was demoted with out a pay decrease. A week before i was terminated our terminal manager beat up a driver in the parking lot and never got fired.  It states in company hand book which i do have that anyone in a phyical altercatio will be terminated.The driver got fired and he never took a swing. The terminal manager admitted to me that he didn't remember much of it because he just freaked out. I was questioned about this in my termination right directly after the terminal manager was told by H.R that it was done and over with and that they weren't going to speak with him about it. I can go all day.
