i was a Cricket cellular phone customer for about 2 years. Granted I had some late payments but I always paid them. However, when I wanted to speak to someone at Cricket I could never get a real person on the phone. I decided that this was bad customer service and wanted nothing to do with them any more. So, I called to diconnect my phone and oh boy was there someone right there to ask me to reconsider.
Since I couldn't get a real person on the phone I had to pay a month in advance and when I called back to get that money back, because I had turned the phone off before that next month they told me that I would get a check in the mail in 6-8 weeks, that was 6 months ago. I need to get a hold of these people and ask them where my money is. Help!

#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds
Sorry for the misunderstanding...

First of all, sorry that you had problems with the automated system (we call it the "IVR"). Many customers have problems with it. Be assured that Cricket actually has pretty good customer service.
The suggestion I usually tell customers is to *listen carefully* to all the options given before making any choice. The easiest way to get to "someone" is through billing (option 2, then 4, then choose the cash payment option) and we can transfer you from there if needed. The other way is through tech support (option 3, then keep pressing option 1). All the options on the IVR are located at this address: https://www.mycricket.com/AutoVMInstructions_popup.aspx
To contact Cricket's Customer relations (our corporate office), send an email about your complaint to customer.relations@cricketcommunications.com
You could also call the 1-800-CRICKET number and ask to have a refund request filled out for you (which gets sent to our corporate office). If you have any problems, speak with a supervisor. I recommend going through the billing option.
