Crisco Builders INC. Chris Eisenhardt I hired Crisco builders to pour my foundation of my house which cracked and put a window in the place. Catskill.New York

I was hired by Mr Palsgraff to install a foundation. Our signed agreement with him states that the finished height of the foundation walls will be 8ft 10 inches above the footings, which it ended up being. Nothing was ever discussed (until well after) about needing a finished wall height any higher. During the form set up the mason subcontractor placed a window form in the wrong location. We cut it as needed but needed to repour small amount of concrete to correctly size the opening. Mason sub was to add concrete when the concrete floor was poured but the owner(Palsgraff) installed the concrete floor, and the mason sub never went back.

Owner (Palsgraff) hired, supervised, directed, and paid the excavation contractor. Palsgraff directed the excavation contractor to leave exposed a section of the footing/frostwall. Exposed, (not backfilled) through out the very cold winter of 2013/14,(it should have beed covered by a minimum of 4 feet of backfill material) and the poured concrete foundation wall in that area cracked. All of the formwork and installed concrete reinforcing bars were install as per the plans and inspected by the Town of Hunter buiulding inspector and approved.

Through our attorney I offered to finish the window repair (fix) if Palsgraff (owner) paid the outstanding balance still due of $2365.12. He refused to pay, CrisCo didn't go back

Palsgraff did refer CrisCo to a job (addition) with his neighbor, there was a problem with the excavation (drainage) at the foundation, but again CrisCo did not hire, over see, or pay the excavation contractor, that was the other homeowner Dennis Radcliff.   At this job (addition) all of CrisCo masonry and carpentry (turnkey 2 story addition) work was inspected, and approved by the Town of Hunter building inspector, CrisCo completed all contracted parts of the job and was paid.

All CrisCo Builders work was inspected by the town of Hunter building inspector, before concrete was poured. Town of Hunter looked at all the reinforcing rod that was installed as per the plans. Size and thickness of footings and walls.
