I have been a customer with cross country bank for years, and it seems like every few years they find a way to screw people over. They seem to be changing my monthly payment amount every other month, for 2 months it will be $35.00 then the next month it goes to $40.00 then the next month $48.00 and they dont send you any notice that it is going up, so when you have it set up for your bank to automatically send the payment out, you get screwed.

since they went and raised my monthly payment, i didnt know so i sent the $40.00 not knowing it had went up to $48.00 so because of $8.00 i now owe $138.00, and with all there so called fees i am now over my credit limit. Oh yeah I am also being charged a $50.00 annual fee, plus $72.00 a year which they add $6.00 a month and call it a participation fee.

The people there are very rude...and they dont have a 800 number to call, so when i do have to call on my account i get a huge phone bill, since it is an out of state company. Cross Country is bad, I wouldnt recommend them to anyone. They should be shut down.

Monthly Minimum

AUTHOR: Ken - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, July 07, 2006

Your minimum payment is a percentage of your outstanding balance, so unless your balance is the same every month, your payment amount is going to change.

On top of that, the government recently raised the minimum amounts you are required to pay (not the bank) and that caused your payment amount to go up.

Doesn't this bank send you a statement evey month showing what you owe?
