When I received the card from CCB I was excited. I had no credit and it was a chance for me to get my credit established. It had a limit of $350 on it and of course all the charges that went along with it. I didn't mind the charges because I figure if I could build my credit it would be worth it in the long run. I had the account for about six months and at the same exact time my husband went on unemployment and I went on maternity leave.

We had no money coming in for about three weeks straight. Of course the due date had to fall right in that time period, the day after the payment was due I got a phone call saying that it was late and they insisted that I give them a check over the phone. I told them that it would bounce because we are flat broke.

The guy had the nerve to say that if the check bounced, I would be charged a $30 dollar fee. Even after we argued for a while, he wouldn't take no for an answer, so I finally hung up on him. They called and called and called one more time. I understand that is their job, but if you are flat broke what can I do. By the time that I had enough money to send them anything I had gone over my limit and was getting charge $30 dollar overlimit charges and $30 late payments. It went into collections and more phone calls came.

Now it is a year later and I finally paid them completly off. I paid thousands of dollars to this company for $350 dollars. I could go on and on about everything they did to me and how they screwed me. Just last month I had overnighted them a check so that it would be there the day before it was due. It didn't go through the bank until the 10th of the month.

Well on the 12th of the month I had a credit report pull on myself and I found that they had already reported thirty days late when first off it got there to them on time, and it wasn't thrity days late. What is up with that?!

They have screwed my credit and I have reportd them to the BBB to see if they can do anything for me. I hope they can because if they can they will regret the day they gave me a card.

Love to everyone that has been screwed by this company I totally know where you are coming from. Monkeys are living off of the interest I paid to this company, I hope you enjoy because all good things come to people that get screwed and bad happens to the bad....
