Cross Country Bank Not sure Contacted me by phone and threathen to take me to court stating I owed them 3000.00 dollars for some credit card that I never posssed. when I asked for documents with my signature on them where I signed for a credit card.They hung up the phone. phone call came from Colorado. On 1/16/2015,I received a call from someone in Colorado stating they were going to subpoena me to court if I didn't pay 3000.00 for a credit card debt that I had with cross country bank. When I informed them that I never had a credit card from that bank and knew nothing about a Cross Country bank.They threathen to garnish my wages. I told them to send the court papers and I'd see them in court abd they hung up in my face. I called back and asked what year was I to supposedly obtained this credit card?they stated 1998..in 1998 I had no credit and barely had a job..There is no way anyone would have given me 3000.00 worth of credit. I'm fed up with these harassing phone calls from collectors that I do not owe.
