Today my mate checked his credit report becuase we are in the process of buying a home and he called me stating there was a charge for $98.00 that was on his credit report from National Credit Solutions (also scams). So I have written letters and already went to the post office on top of e-mailing and calling these people. Come to find out some Religious book club called Crossing book club aka Double Day has sent a collectio to the above debt collectors for something that was never pursued or purchased by us.

I have already contacted this book club and I am waiting a response, their only getting till tomorrow morning. The time periof is from June 08 to November 08 which is really strange because the same thing happened during the same time period for someone else on this complaint site.

There was never a bill because nothing was purchased because my mate has absolutley No religious denomination and hasn't since he was very young so for these people to claim there is a debt is so ridiculous and hypocritical because of what they supposedly represent.

I hope more and more people take the time to report matters like this because everything today is based on credit and scam artist are taking fulladvandtage of people who are naive to their rights and it is so sad that people like Crossing Books would send out false debt never notifying the person and selling this debt to collectors who attempt to destroy your credit and get you to pay by fighting and scaring you.
Good Luck and I hope a lot of people begin to wake up.
