Crossroads Subscriptions, LSS Inc. Scam Aubrey Texas

On January 23, 2008 a young college age boy came to our door and said he was selling magazing subscriptions to earn points for a trip to Cancun. He said we would receive our magazines in 90-120 days. It is now the 10th of February 2009 (a complete 13 months later!!!), and I still have not received all of the magazines. I paid by check; made check out to LSS inc. They cashed my check within a couple of weeks. We have called the phone number he had wrote on the ticket which is 940-365-0089.

In July 2008, we called them since we had not received ANY of the magazines. I had ordered two. They then informed me that the "US World News" magazine could not be obtained. (I was thinking...why did we have to call you guys to find this out...it was your responsibility to tell me and provide my money back.) The other magazine which was "Family Fun" we did finally receive...8 months late.

So in our goal of getting our money back from the US World News Mag., we wrote a letter in September 2008 informing them of their need to pay us our money back.

Since then, we have called the company MANY TIMES and they have said they would get our money back to us. A lot of the times, there is a message to leave your name and ticket number and they will call you back the following business day. (Hah!!) Today I called and they say that they have reorganized the company and that it will send me my money in 4-5 weeks. (Who takes that long to cut a check?) I talked to a girl named "Brandy" today. (We will see...)

Do not buy magazines from any one saying they are from LSS or CRS inc.!!
