I opened a credit account with Crown Jewelers back around 2003-2005 during a divorce where i was trying to build up credit.  I haven't touched this account since then, and it isn't reported on my credit report anymore either.  Apparently, its not closed either though.

I recently had a charge of over $700 on one of my CHECKING accounts from Crown Jewelers for an apparant order placed.  Unsure if it is full price paid, or down payment as nobody seems to want to get to the bottom on this.

To make matters worse, my own bank is questioning if its a legit charge, because Crown Jewelers has my personal information.  Of course they have my info, I had an account with them!  Beware everyone trying to rebuild credit.  Crown Jewelers seem to keep your info for their own use, and/or sell it to others. 

As it looks now, my KIDS are out $700 since it was from the account their support check goes into for their needs, which means I'll be buying school clothes,supplies ect all on my own this year.

I'm disgusted with this company, and wish there was some way to stop them!
