I have to say that I have had nothing but problems from this company. They are rude and very, very not a legitimate Company.

My problems with this company started about a month ago in Nov 2006. They called my mom's house looking for me, I just happen to not be home. My mom had told them that I had been deployed, I am in the military, and I had been deployed, I just happen to be coming home that day. My mom didn't know I was coming home, so she was trying to get information from them since my mom has power of attorney over my affairs, she has the right to get any and all information about my stuff including my bills.

The lady that called would not give my mom a name, would not give her any information, and just kept yelling at my mom, so my mom hung up on her.

Then about two weeks later she called back asking for me, and I was standing right there by my mom, and my mom told them I was not home. They told her to tell me to give them a call, and when she asked them what it was in referrence to, the lady started yelling at my mom yet again, and when my mom told her that she had power of attorney over my affairs, the lady told her to get an attorney.

Right after that my mom and I did a google search on the internet and found that this company is so fake it's not even funny. They say they are trying to collect a debt for a loan company, problem is, they should look into weather or not people keep records of the places they have loans at.

I have gotten three loans over the internet, and I have copies of all of my contracts with those companies, and the company they are saying I have a loan with, isn't even a legitimate loan company.

After finding the info out on the internet on this company, they called back a few days later and my mom answered the phone again and told them that I had been deployed again, so they told my mom they were going to call my comander at my company. Which they have done, and after my comander from my company sent me an email concerning this matter I sent my comander at email back explaining what my mom and I have experienced, and my comander and one more higher up than my comander googled the company and found the same things I did.

I am trying to get an appointment with JAG to get this resolved.

If you get a call from this company, get as much of the information from them you can, BUT NEVER NEVER NEVER GIVE THEM YOU ACCOUNT INFO ON ANYTHING. They are trying to scam you for money. I was smart enough to refuse to give them any info as my mom has refused to give them any info.

Any company that refuses to give you any other option of payment other than paying by check-by-phone, credit card, or western union, is not a legit company, and don't trust them. Always look the company up on the BBB website.

#1 Consumer Suggestion

NEVER speak to any debt collector on the phone! you and will always make things worse.

AUTHOR: Steve - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, December 14, 2006

This is rule # 1! NEVER speak to any debt collector on the phone!! It will never do anything positive for you and will always make things worse.

Go to FTC.gov and read the FDCPA, and also file a complaint online for the abuses you suffered. You can sue them for up to $1000 plus costs.

You need to send a DEBT VALIDATION request. Demand a copy of any contract involved with your signature and a full account history and itemization of charges. Also demand proof that they have a legal right to the debt, as well as proof that they are licensed in both states as a debt collector.

Send this by certified mail, return reciept requested, and be sure to put the certified# on the letter itself and keep a copy for your records. This proves WHAT you sent.
