CRS, Inc. CrossRoads Subscriptions Add Roanoke, VA to the list... Pilot Point Texas

In February, 2013, a very personable young man came to our apartment selling magazine subscriptions.  He said he was trying to "out-do" the others in his group in order to raise money for college and possibly win a trip somewhere (I forget where...).  Being the nice people that we are, we ordered subscriptions to two magazines, one for us and one for our son.  

After several months, neither magazine had arrived.  There was no phone number listed on the receipt, only a street address in Pilot Point, TX.  I contacted several sources in Pilot Point--Post Office, Chamber of Commerce, Sheriff's Dept., Library, etc.--but no one was willing to give me the phone number.  After some reasonable Internet research, we found that complaints against CRS are plentiful in Ripoff Report.  Guess we should have checked here first.  

Add Roanoke, VA to the growing list of those suckered in by CRS.
