My daughter and I both ordered a "Crunchless Abs" DVD after seeing it advertised on TV. We both actually like the DVD, but neither of us like the slimball, rip-off treatment we've received from the company.

My daughter called to warn me she'd rec'd a 2nd DVD from the company. She assumed it was an error and called them. The rep was such an arm twister, my daughter had to insist on a refund no less than 6 times. They told her she'd have to pay for shipping and handling if she returned the DVD. She was heading to the P.O. when I last spoke with her today. (I'm waiting on an update.) She's a just-graduated student and doesn't have money to scammers.

I have not yet received any additional DVDs in the mail, but I did check my VISA charges. I see that my credit card has a new 2nd crunchless ab charge for $26.98 -- one month to the day after last month's statement's correct charge of $19.89. Instead of calling the scam artist, I called VISA and told them this is an unauthorized charge that I want denied. I explained the scam and asked what to do. They will remove and advised me to return any unordered DVDs to the post office with the word "refused" clearly written on the package.

Tomorrow, I'll call crunchless abs (for what it is worth). I imagine they'll try the same charge crap in another few weeks and I'll need to call VISA again (what my 'dispute' rep advised). I'd like to list them with any of the germane regulatory agencies (for what it's worth). I also plan on going on any exercise/fitness blogs to warn others not to bother with this company. Their fraudulent practices just aren't worth it. Practices like this are just so wrong.
