Alan H Russell, the owner of CSS Nevada lied to me several times about refunding $500 which I paid him in February of 2011 as a partial payment to set up a Nevada corporation. When I tried to move forward with the process, I could not get my calls returned by the CSS Nevada Representative appointed to me or the accountant that CSS Nevada advises their clients to use. Scheduled phone meetings were never kept by the appointed CSS Nevada representative and the accountant actually never responded to any of the voicemail messages I left for her.

I couldn't go forward with a company that never returned my calls after they received my deposit. When I first called 9 months ago for my refund, I was told they would research the matter and get back to me. Ten weeks went by without me hearing from them. When I called I was told that the record keeper I had spoke with no longer worked there and that all records of my transaction had been lost.

After I provided proof of the payment, I was told they would research the matter and get back to me. After not hearing from CSS Nevada for another ten weeks I called back and Alan Russell needed all my information again. After another four weeks, Alan H Russell told me I would be paid in two weeks. Three weeks later Alan H Russell told me the check would go out next week. When I called two weeks later, Alan H Russell came on the phone and said," I'll bet you're wondering where your check is. I will mail it out tomorrow."

At the time I am filing this complaint it is three weeks after Alan H Russell told me he would mail the check tomorrow. This is not how anyone should conduct business. Let alone an attorney. Besides being unethical, lying is dishonest. It should have been obvious to me earlier that Alan H Russell had no intention of refunding my money. I just don't understand the lying and stringing me along. I have better things to do than play games while trying to conduct business. Apparently Alan H Russell does not.

Unfortunate Events, Issue Resolved

AUTHOR: Alan Russell - ()

POSTED: Monday, October 20, 2014

This situation was resolved more than two years ago. The Client’s payment of $500 was fully and completely refunded at that time.

At the time that this incident occurred, CSS was under the impression that the services for this client had been rendered in full. After a complete and exhaustive review of the facts, it was determined that only a partial completion of the services had in fact been accomplished. Consequently, a decision was made to refund the Client’s payment of $500.00 in full.

The Client was not satisfied with the time that it took to get his refund. CSS regrets that this incident occurred and has since taken steps to expedite its review process. We take client feedback very seriously. In the 15 years that CSS has been in business, this is the only time we had an issue rise to this level and we tried to do everything possible to right the situation for the client.
