Cliff took months and months holding on to my laptop -- he was having problems, so I tried to be understanding. He gave me two laptops back working, but not that well. He said he would back up my information on them - then erased all information. He told me he was unable to back it up, but didn't tell me or give me the chance to do it. I was distressed that I couldn't retrieve any of my files, but it was too late. The final laptop, a little EEE PC running Linux, actually had nothing wrong with it. I just wasn't able to update my internet programs, and I asked him to do it. 3 months later, he wasn't able to do it. I asked Cliff to just restore the system I had, and he said he would as soon as he was able, but he was having personal problems. I said that was OK, I had to leave town for awhile, but please call me when the computer was working.
I said, "You won't sell my computer, will you?"
Cliff Taylor replied, "No, because we discussed this." He told me he would call me when the computer was functioning again. I made it clear to him that this was my husband's computer, and I had to give it back to him.
So I was waiting for Cliff to call me. He never did. Finally, after the New Year (2013), I called him and asked him what happened. He said, "You never told me you were back in town." I pointed out to him that he had agreed to call me when the computer was fixed (that is, restored to what it was when I first gave it to him), and he said he would do that -- he had my email address and phone numbers.
Well, I waited from October until January for him to let me know, then figured I had given him enough time. I had been patient, but my patience wore out. So I called him to ask if I could get my husband's computer - ready or not.
He said, "No, you never called, so I got rid of it."
I told him I had waited a long time, and asked him to call me when it was ready, but he denied it. I'm sure he will still deny it. But I gave him a $400 computer, and he apparently sold it. He said he fixed it, and I don't know if he did or not, because there was no phone message and no email to tell me it was fixed. He had been unable to update it -- so he told me -- so I only wanted it back to what it was, and if he ever did that, he neglected to let me know.
What I had to do was buy another computer for my husband, similar to the first. So basically, Cliff Taylor, CST Computer Repair in Portsmouth, stole the computer and probably sold it.
DON'T TRUST Cliff Taylor or CST Computer Repair with ANYTHING - He will definitely lie to you and he may find a way to steal yours!

I responded to an add on Craigslist for Quickbooks POS 2013. He answered to phone CST Computer Repair and then identified himself as Clifford Taylor and stated that it is a legit copy and that he has a license number and activation code. So I sent him a check.
He sent me a scratched cd cover containing a scratched cd with Quickbooks and Quicken on it with a text document with an article from piratebay.com on how to bypass Quickbooks registration.
I texted him right away stated that it didnt work (hoping for him to call me back) no response. I then called and left several messages, emails, post on his facebook account, posts on his google page.
In my opinion he is a common thief and no one should do business with him.
I encourage anyone having dealings with him to call the authorities, BBB, police, FBI, etc.

this lady is trying to say we are pirating software on c-list and writing rude spam on c-list
just for the record linux is open source and giving a way freely so u can pirate it lol
she came into are store and ask if we could remove the kids from the store as she is worry about them and did not feel like coming into the store with out the kids being remove from the store
crazy huh
anyways
she would not fill out any paperwork could not stand still long anuff to ask a straight ?
she stunk up the whole store and we were glad to get her out of the store
she was a very dirty person with a dirty car which was fill with trash

1st i would like to say that this customer in ?? has not told the truth at all and to let some one just post info with out any kind of proof show very poorly on your end
2nd her time frame is all wrong it took her over a year to pick up her laptop and every time she called i would inform her and she would say am going out of town and i dont have the money i told her u have till the end of the month to pick it up and if not it will be sold for what was own on it
3rd her $400 laptop is not $400 as u can clearly see by the link http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B0013NRQPU/ref=dp_olp_0?ie=UTF8&condition=alla eepc 4g is worth around $200 or less use
and was brought to me in a very dirty and abuse condition
3rd it was 2 laptops not 4 as she claims 4th if i wanted to rip her off why would i give her back the better laptop and sell the one that was in very bad condition alot of her story makes no cents to me a eeepc 4g is not a $400 laptop why did it take her over a year took even get ahold of me
