I didn't deceive anyone as my credit card dispute was valid when it was filed. Like I told you previously, you should call the people who sold you that Benny Hill Home Study Do It Yourself Lawyer Program you bought and ask for your money back. It's very obvious you don't know the law or what you are talking about.

Curtis, you and I both know there is no credit card fraud investigation going on and there never will be because the only credit card fraud that occurred was when you attempted to steal the $5,000.00 I sent you for the investor loan. Now that even you admit I won the PayPal/ credit card dispute and received my $5,000.00 back from PayPal, game over for you.

What I did prove beyond a reasonable doubt is you're a liar. That goes without saying and by your own admission you first contacted Grip This Motorcycle Products. All anyone with common sense (which you obviously lack) has to do is connect the dots stupid.

The second point is let's just say as a hypothetical you bought the forward controls from ChopperWerks Mfg., Inc. (which you didn't). You still lied about returning the parts back to Custom ChopperWerks, Inc. you claimed were wrong. You kept and still have those parts along with additional parts worth $250.00 Custom ChopperWerks sent you because you promised to return the first order. So you lied about returning the parts which makes you a liar. You kept the second shipment of parts Custom ChopperWerks sent you without paying for them so that makes you a thief. Look it up in Webster's.

Yes, the Sportster is the same frame but from 89 down they were mid frame mounts knothead. From 200 up they were moved to the front of the frame and and have a different bolt pattern mount, so like I said they won't fit. B****, you are about as smart as a box of rocks.

This is exactly why the Florida Better Business Bureau didn't think you were truthful because you lied to them. So they threw your fraudulent complaint in the trash.

Now if you go to our website www.customchopperwerks.com it clearly states Custom ChopperWerks sells WHOLESALE ONLY and does NOT SELL RETAIL TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. Have someone read that to you and explain what it says  Mr. David Baur if you have a reading comprehension problem.

On that same website, you will also see on the second page of the website, our RETURN  & REFUND POLICY for our dealers. Underneath that, it says REQUIRED READ BEFORE ORDERING. You should also notice on this same website there are no prices stated for our products nor is there any way to make a purchase of our products from this website. What this obviously translates to mean Mr. David Baur that even someone as dense as you should understand after reading what is stated on this website, that only a licensed dealer can purchase our products. You Mr. David Baur are not a licensed dealer to buy or sell our products, right ?

Now, lets take your false claims one at a time shall we :

You admit you had several conversations (actually emails) with Nancy of Grip This Motorcycle Products on ebay, right ? So that means it was her business that had the forward controls you wanted to purchase, right ? So by your own admission you were buying the forward controls from Grip This Motorcycle Products when Nancy REFERRED (your words) to Custom ChopperWerks, right ? Thats what you stated in your post, correct ? So since Ive shown and proven in the above stated paragraphs Custom ChopperWerks does not sell retail to the general public (which is you), and you admit communicating with Grip This Motorcycle Products several times, Grip This Motorcycle Products had to be the dealer you were making your purchase from, correct ? Otherwise, why would you communicate with Grip This Motorcycle Products at all ? Custom ChopperWerks, Inc. has a published telephone number. If you were making your purchase from Custom ChopperWerks why would you Mr. David Baur have contacted Nancy @ Grip This Motorcycle Products ? Doesnt make sense why you would be speaking to Grip This Motorcycle Products when you were buying the product from Custom ChopperWerks does it Mr.David Baur ? The only thing that makes sense here is you are lying and that you were buying the forward controls through Grip This Motorcycle Products.

You next false claim is, you were sent the wrong parts and they didnt match, right ? OK.......... lets look at the picture on the left you posted here on The Rip Off Report. At the top of that picture it shows a pair of our Magnum handlebar grips, a pair of our Magnum toe pegs, and a pair of our Magnum foot pegs, with attached pair of clevises (clevises are sold separately). This is the order that was sent to you first that you claim was the wrong order. IT WASNT THE WRONG ORDER BUT MORE ON THAT SHORTLY. All of these parts are the parts YOU MR. DAVID BAUR promised to send back to Custom ChopperWerks, remember ? In case you forgot Ive got the emails regarding your promise to send these parts back.

Now, lets examine those parts you first received but claimed were the wrong order. First, THEY ALL MATCH IN APPEARANCE. The handlebar grips, foot pegs, and toe pegs, are matching Magnum Busckshot style. So your claim they didnt match is a flat out lie.

As to your false claim Grip This Motorcycle Products sent you the wrong order. Ive attached a picture of the ebay ad in question by Grip This Motorcycle Products. You ordered our black  Buckshot Arm forward controls from Grip This Motorcycle Products. Attached is an exact picture of the black  Buckshot Arm forward controls in the Grip This Motorcycle Products ebay ad you made your purchase from. That picture shows the foot and toe pegs style for the black Buckshot Arm forward controls which you ordered to to be our Magnum Buckshot style foot and toe pegs. This is exactly what was sent to you in the first order you falsely claimed was wrong. It is also exactly what is shown by your own photo you posted here on The Rip Off Report Mr. David Baur. So........... you lied again. Be careful what you wish for Mr. David Baur, you wanted me to show you the ad you made your purchase from, you got it. You can even go to ebay and check out the Grip This Motorcycle Products ad yourself. It hasnt changed.

The truth is Grip This Motorcycle Products didnt send you the wrong style handlebar grips, foot and toe pegs at all. The truth is you changed your mind and saw our Sniper design handlebar grips, foot and toe pegs and wanted those and wanted Grip This Motorcycle Products to exchange them. Grip This Motorcycle Products informed you that they dont exchange parts which if you recall is stated on our Custom ChopperWerks website. That point in time, was when you were, in your words, "referred" to Custom ChopperWerks.

You then contact me at Custom ChopperWerks, Inc. whining about wanting to exchange your Magnum Buckshot style handlebar grips, foot and toe pegs, for our Sniper Buckshot style handlebar grips, foot and toe pegs. I explained to you that Custom ChopperWerks normally does not exchange parts already delivered to retail buyers. However, I agreed to exchange the parts and send out part (foot pegs) of the exchange order immediately if you Mr. David Baur would immediately return the parts you claimed were wrong on the first order.

Custom ChopperWerks, Inc. delivered on its promise. Mr. David baur lied and never to this day returned the parts he promised to send back. So, that was another lie by Mr. David Baur. The parts I sent Mr. David  Baur relying on his promise, were valued at $250.00 which Mr. David Baur never paid for. The second shipment of parts Custom ChopperWerks, Inc. sent to Mr. David Baur are shown mounted on the forward controls. This photo proves Mr. David Baur received the second shipment from Custom ChopperWerks, Inc. as I had promised.

How come the second order didnt match ? Because Custom ChopperWerks is not stupid enough to send more parts to Mr. David Baur worth $225.00 and lose more money since Mr. David Baur failed to send back the first order he promised to send back to Custom ChopperWerks and Mr. David Baur never paid for the $250.00 worth of additional parts Custom ChopperWerks had sent him.

Mr.David Baur...... you received your first order which was correct. Lied about the order being incorrect, then received an additional $250.00 worth of parts from Custom ChopperWerks you never paid for. That not only makes you a liar , but also a thief. In spite of that, you now have the nerve to come on The Rip Off Report and claim you were screwed by Custom ChopperWerks, Inc..

As for your claim they dont fit ? That is nothing but a ploy to try and force Custom ChopperWerks to send you the additional parts which we wont do. You never mentioned anything about fit until recently which is at least seven months after receiving them. We have sold over a thousand sets of Dyna Low Rider forward controls and they all fit properly. Mr. David Baur, you don't strike me as the sharpest tool in the shed the way you've been caught lying here. Check and see if maybe you tried installing the forward controls upside down or backwards. That is the only way those forward controls wouldn't fit.

You claim you sold them to someone that owns a Sportster ? Sorry, I dont believe that because those forward controls you have wont fit a Sportster.

I had very many pleasurable conversations with you before this whole thing went wrong and even during I got ahold of you and you even tried to get this fixed.

Like I said Nancy my complaint is not with you because the transaction did not go through you. If it did am positive that this would not be this way if I had dealt with you! And please dont feel that you have to defend bob because he knows he screwed me! but Like I said the parts have a new home  in dallas on a SPORSTER.........which by the way were the parts that were sent to me because the Master Cylinder hit the exhaust pipes on the dyna which on the Sporster the pipes route over the cam cover not around like the dyna!.......Did the reserch on it. Look at the pictures Nancy nothing matched that I ordered....toe pegs.......handgrips....to be excact. Nevermind the fact is they were not 2+ if they were we would never would have had an issue!

But Like I said I have no more connection to these parts yes I did loose alot of money but a small price to pay for the lesson I learned......

David Baur, your purchase was through Grip This, Inc. NOT Custom ChopperWerks, Inc.. Custom ChopperWerks, Inc. only sells to licensed dealers and does not sell it's products retail to the general public such as you. So your claim against Custom ChopperWerks, Inc. is blatantly false and untruthful.

The order that was first sent to you was correct as I have the documentation of the order you placed. I have Custom ChopperWerks, Inc. drop ship all my orders as it speeds up the shipping process. That is why you saw their address on the shipping box. All my suppliers drop ship their products for Grip This Motorcycle Products.

Custom ChopperWerks, Inc. in the spirit of good customer relations even sent you additional items to replace the items you falsely claimed were incorrect. You promised to send the items you claimed were incorrectly shipped to you but you never did. You appear to be a very dishonest person. 

Now, as to your claim the Harley Davidson Dyna Low Rider forward controls Grip This, Inc. sent you don't fit ? That is just not true at all. Grip This, Inc. has sold in excess of 200 sets of forward controls for the Harley Davidson Dyna Low Rider and ALL OF THEM FIT PERFECTLY. We have NEVER had a set of forward controls returned and that is for any reason. These forward controls by Custom ChopperWerks, Inc. we sell are of the highest quality money can buy. Grip This Motorcycle Products sells on ebay and our business rating on ebay is 100%. 

I am sorry the situation has turned out the way it has, and that you felt you had to direct your false accusations at Custom ChopperWerks, Inc. and Grip This, Inc.. However, there is not one word of truth in your false accusations.

Mr. Curtis Brown, I have spoken to Bob Rowe of Custom ChopperWerks, Inc. and he has informed me of the background information regarding you, your businesses Tycoon Group, LLC and Curtis Brown USA, LLC.

Grip This, Inc. is a dealer of Custom ChopperWerks, Inc. products and is owned by me ONLY not Custom ChopperWerks, Inc.. For you to come on this forum and slander and commit defamation with lies against my business is outrageous.

Mr. Rowe of Custom ChopperWerks, Inc.. sent me documents that show you steal money from your own clients. I also understand there is a criminal investigation going on against you. Good, people like you belong in jail.

One other point that needs to be addressed. Robert Rowe of Custom ChopperWerks, Inc. has never been arrested. I'm familiar with the incident as all Custom ChopperWerks's dealer are of the incident you have twisted and lied about. A crook such as yourself in the northern part of Florida, attempted to file a false police report in an attempt to avoid arrest for grand theft of almost a $100,000.00 of Custom ChopperWerks's property. This crook was arrested and no charges or arrest of Mr. Rowe took place. So your accusations regarding Mr. Rowe's arrest are all lies which you seem to enjoy creating.

Mr. Rowe has informed me about your credit card dispute with Mr. Rowe of $5,000.00 you lost Mr. Curtis Brown when you attempted to steal $5,000.00 from Mr. Rowe. Serves you right for being the crook that you are. Con men like you belong in jail.

Are you really that dense, or do you have some type of mental defect that you can't comprehend anything written to you ? Try reading slower, or better yet have someone read this to you and explain what it says.

Have you ever heard the axiom.. to big a word for you. Have you ever heard the old saying a picture is worth a thousand words ? Doers that ring a bell, Dave ?

The picture you posted confirms the following :

a. All the parts that match (grips, foot pegs w/ clevises, toe pegs) on the towel at the top of picture on the left are the parts that were shipped to you on the first order (Order #1) you claimed was incorrect (it wasn't). These are the exact same parts you promised to send back or return if we shipped you the additional parts you requested that you wanted exchanged. You never returned these parts which the photo you posted confirms.

b. Picture #2 on the right shows some of the parts you requested (foot pegs w/clevises and toe pegs) which have been installed on the forward controls. These parts were sent to you on 07/20/12 and you NEVER paid for these parts. I've attached the shipping receipts and confirmation numbers for both shipments #1 and #2 sent to you.

c. We did not send you anything else you requested to exchange, because you NEVER sent back the parts from order #1 as you had promised to do. That translates to mean you cheated Grip This, Inc. and Custom ChopperWerks out of $250.00 because you NEVER paid anything for the parts we sent in the second shipment. It also explains why you are missing matching parts which we refused to send to you when you didn't return the first shipment of parts we sent.

d. We drop ship our products for our dealers when they request it. Most manufacturers do this. That is why our address is on the box, stupid.

e. David, you avoided the question and I understand why you wouldn't want to answer regarding the fit of the forward controls. If the forward controls didn't fit your low rider motorcycle as you claim, why would you sell them to some unsuspecting buyer on Craigslist ? Can you answer that ? I didn't think so.  Like I stated, there are only two possibilities here. You are lying, and the forward controls did fit your low rider, or you are willing to cheat someone on Craigslist by selling them something they wanted but you knew wouldn't work. As I said previously, neither one says much of your ethics and integrity which is nonexistent, and you call me a con man ? That's funny.

As I stated, you lied about sending the parts back and you lied to the Florida Better Business Bureau. That makes it very easy to figure out the truth on what really transpired.

If i may quote you in your first meaningless rant....Try telling the truth. First, Grip This, Inc. one of our dealers sent you the correct parts NOT the wrong parts. Grip This, Inc. did nothing wrong.

Thank you for proving my point. Your pictures show the first set of foot pegs which are the "Magnum" foot and toe pegs which you claimed were the wrong order and that you promised to send back. The Magnum passenger and forward control foot pegs, are layed out on the floor in your picture. You installed the Magnum toe pegs which you can see attached to the forward controls. They all MATCH. Again, these are the parts you promised to return, but never did.

The $250.00 worth of replacement parts we sent you which you never paid for, can be seen in your picture mounted on the forward controls. They are our Sniper foot pegs. We sent these out which are Sniper foot pegs with clevises. We did NOT send you the Sniper toe pegs which would have made the Sniper set match because we never received the parts back you promised to return. So the mismatch is due to your own dishonesty in not returning the parts you promised to return.

So when you post we sent you parts that didn't match, that simply isn't true. We weren't sending you anymore parts until you returned the parts you claimed were the wrong order that you promised to send back.

Like I said David Baur, sorry, Mr. David Baur....... try telling the truth. The bottom line is you lied to me and stole our products without paying for them, you lied to the Florida Better Business Bureau which was why your claim was dismissed.

Now you want to falsely accuse my business of causing your problems when it was your own conduct that caused your problems.

I'm curious about one thing......you claim the forward controls didn't fit your low-rider, right ? You also claim you sold the forwards controls you purchased from our dealer Grip This, off of Craigslist, correct. So..... if these forward controls truly didn't fit as you claim, then why would you sell them to someone by deceiving them if you really knew they didn't fit ? That only leaves two answers to that question. The forwrd controls did fit your low-rider and you are lying, or........ you are willing to deceive someone by selling them a set of forward controls that don't fit.

I don't have any problems at all. You're the one under criminal investigation for stealing at least $10,000.00 from two innocent clients of yours through interstate bank fraud.

As for this false complaint by David Baur. He posted the pictures of the additional $250.00 worth of parts we sent him he didn't pay for along with the new parts he promised to return but didn't. He is a scammer too.

The right parts were sent to you through Grip This Motorcycle products. Our telephone number is posted there to answer technical questions regarding our products. Other dealer post our our telephone number also. Look up Grip This, Inc. with the State of Florida Sercretary of State Division of Corporations. You will see there Robert Rowe or Custom ChopperWerks, Inc. does not have any ownership in Grip This, Inc..

Now as to this garbage in your claim they didn't fit your low-rider. We sell to Harley Davidson dealers. Before that is allowed our products must be inspected by them to confirm they work with their products. Our products fit ALL Harley Davidsons including Dyna Low Rider FX frames. ALL years. We have NEVER had our forward controls fail to fit a Dyna Low Rider. So much for your false claim.

It's very obvious from your latest rant that you aren't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed Mr. David Baur. Your business is not the kind of business Custom ChopperWerks, Inc. or our dealers want to be quite honest.

The fact you sold them along with the additional $250.00 worth of parts we sent you that you never paid for speaks volumes regarding your honesty.

Robert Rowe you didn't like my services so, I gave you a full refund - yet that wasn't good enough.  You told paypal you were not refunded.  Unfortunately, I didn't have all the proof with the cancelled checks in time to counter you bald face lies.  Now I do and I have sent those traced checks directly to your credit card company and paypal.  My bank says in you're in a serious bad situation.  Ultimately, you cheated paypal and you cheated your own credit card company, just so you can look good!  You got an extra $5K that you gave to your accomplice.  You're just a midget idiot going to federal prison for up to 10 years.  You love fighting everyone and bringing calamity to yourself.  You're seriously sick and have zero credibility.  You deserve to go back to jail.

Yeah yeah yeah keep playing the inocent one there CON MAN.........To all that reads this just google search Custom Chopper Werks and see just how many people he has SCREWED out of parts and Money.............Oh yeah to add I offered to send back the parts several times and was told that no shipment would be accepted from me so.........what else was I supposed to do..........nevermind being told that i was to keep the parts till my order was correct.............so lets see Grip This contact information goes straight to ROBERT ROWE wow just happens to be the owner of CCW. Yeah he will feed a bunch of bullshit about how his ex wife, a divorce decree, but hey im divorced too and my ex wife has nothing to do with my business nor do I open accounts in my name for her to generate income from..............He really thinks the public is STUPID!
 
First hole in his story is the parts I ordered were to fit a 2005 FXDL............well they do not fit a 2005 dxdl so as far as me getting the correct parts .............I want some of what your smoking Mr Rowe you need to get off the Pipe and get on some Dimentia Meds cause you sir suffer from CRS CANT REMEMBER s**t! ! !

Second hole in his story is that I lied to the BBB.........well they have all the documents and I was told that they could not get me a resolution with the company which means the company CCW refused to settle the complaint.............Nevermind the fact Mr Rowe openly admitted to having a well know aquaintance with the case worker whom had the complaint i filed her name is Tawnia Yovanovich...........Futher more CCW is not and has never been a Credited business with the BBB.

I wish I could attach pictures of what he so called correct parts.........Hand Grips did not match, toe pegs did not match, Lets not forget the main problem was that they did not even fit the bike i orderd them for..............

All I can say is hes a real piece of work and as of today I am happy to announce that the Pile of scrap alluminum was sold on craigslist so I will have no futher contact with Mr Rowe or his puppett Josh!

Try telling the truth. First, Grip This, Inc. one of our dealers sent you the correct parts NOT the wrong parts. Grip This, Inc. did nothing wrong. 

You contacted Custom ChopperWerks, Inc. after several months of having the forward controls and asked if we would exchange the parts that were sent originally with an additional $250.00 worth of new parts you requested. I agreed to send out immediately the $250.00 worth of new parts to you relying on the promise you would return the parts you claimed were wrong. You received the $250.00 worth of new parts you never paid for and you never returned the parts you promised to return. So the bottom line is you've cheated Custom ChopperWerks, Inc. out of $250.00 which I have the shipping receipts for.

You even attempted to extort more parts out of us by filing a false report with the Florida Better Business Bureau. When I presented the evidence of what had really transpired the Florida Better Business Bureau dismissed you bogus complaint.

You have since emailed me several times with all kinds of threats. The bottom line is Custom ChopperWerks, Inc. is not sending you anything else after you lied to us and stole $250.00 worth of our parts without paying for them. In addition, don't give me this garbage the forward controls didn't fit. Harley Davidson has used our products for years and we have sold with no installation problems around one thousand low-rider (FX frames) forward controls. The other fact is you've had these forward controls for almost a year and now you complain about the fit for the first time. Right. Like I said, you get nothing out of us.
