Custom Creative Concrete George Sommerville Concrete not Stained! Peeling and Flaking! George does not stand behind his work!! Canton Georgia

In February of 2015 we hired George to stain and polish our floors in our new home in Ball Ground.  We had about 1700 square feet of floor for him to do.  He gave us a quote, showed us some great photos, and we hired him.  Within 2 weeks of him "staining" and sealing the floors it began to peel & chip.  We called him and asked him what to do.  He instructed us to use the 'touch up' stain he had left with us and then to polish the floors again.  This did not work.  We sent multiple texts and called many times and he would not respond.  Finally, we got him to come out and look at the floors and he told us that it was becasue of our large dogs that the floors were chipping and peeling.  We had another concrete contractor come in and look at the floors.  They said that it didn't apppear the the floors were stained at all....but rather painted!!  He took a look at the touch up stain and said that it smelled and looked like watered down paint to him.  In order to have the problem fixed we would have to move all of the furniture out of the house - retape all the baseboards and wall, have the ENTIRE floor sanded down - etched and restained and polished.  We would have to move our entire family - and our pets -out for at least a week.  It would cost over $6000 to fix what George did.  We contacted an attorney and sent him a letter stating that if he refunded us our money, we would call it even.  He did not respond.  So now we are suing him.  If anyone else would like to join in this lawsuit or if they have any other information they would like to share regarding George or his work, please contact me.  **********************
