This company, CustomUSBHub.com claims to manufacture and sell custom flash drives. I spoke with a John David on the phone more than once. He gave me lots of background info on the company. I did a search for them and found no negative experiences. I placed an order for 2500 flash drives with our company logo and he said they'd be shipping soon. I have not heard from him in over a month. I have emailed him several times. I have tried calling several times. No one ever answers. They charged our company credit card and never sent the product. We were charged by a different company as well, Truth Kingdom Consulting, is the name that appeared on the credit card statement. This company also appears to be operating under the name Global Media Consulting.

This company is not legit. This is a fraudulent business and is a scam. Do NOT do business with this company.

After filing a report with the BBB, posting a review on RipOffReport and posting a review on their Facebook page, I finally received a phone call from someone at the company. Angel Watson, the owner, called me himself to apologize for what happened with our order.

I originally placed an order in December and asked the sales rep to not charge the company card until the first of the year. He agreed. After the first of the year I sent a follow-up email, asking about the status of the order. He told me I should have received a payment receipt, which I did not. He also said the flash drives would be shipping in a week. Fast forward to early February and I still had not received the flash drives. I sent another email and he told me they were shipping that week. That was the last I heard from the sales rep. Come early March I had still not received the flash drives, yet the company card had been charged in January. By this time I had tried calling several times and was never able to get past a recording. All of my emails went unanswered by the sales rep. At this point it was safe to assume this company was fraudulent and a scam. I decided to alert other consumers about my experience and that it's a scam by posting reviews online. It took a while, but the phone call came today from the owner, Angel.

Angel apologized for everything that happened and acknowledged that the fault was on their end. My order was never processed, yet the card had been charged. The sales rep I had been working with had been fired and that's why he wasn't responding. However, over the course of the month that I emailed and called, no one else ever reached out to me. Even after I filed the first complaint. He acknowledges that someone from the company should have reached out to me immediately instead of letting this go on this far.

A refund has been issued to us, and Angel has offered to ship 100 free flash drives to help make up for this error. He will also be talking to his employees about improving their customer service skills.

As far as I know this company is not a scam, however I did have a bad sales rep and my order fell through the cracks, so my overall experience was bad. I appreciate the phone call from Angel to help clear this up. I sincerely hope this doesn't happen to anyone else, and I think since this happened and escalated to this point, Angel will do whatever he can to make sure no one else has this experience.

Thank you again to Angel for calling me and clearing this up. It is very appreciated.

"This is in response to the complaint filled against us. Kim Turner of TEC ordered the flash drives in January. Like any other manufactuere of custom USB we do all of our work overseas. We called her and emailed her multiple times and advised her that her order was delayed because of CHinese New Year." - Completely untrue. John David of CustomUSBHub has not contacted me once since February 8, when he responded to an inquiry email from me, stating the flash drives had shipped. When I responded asking for proof of shipment, he did not respond and has not responded since. Never once was I told it was delayed because of the Chinese New Year. Furthermore, he told me the flash drives were manufactured in the US when I placed the order, not overseas.

"Then about a week later we received a dispute letter from American express stating that Kim and her Company had disputed the charges as "fraudlent". At that point we refused to ship the goods until the dispute was dropped, this never happened, so simply we will not ship any drives without the payment being made." Yes, we disputed the charges when our card was charged without ever having received a payment receipt or shipping confirmation. Since February 8 I have emailed John David a few times, requesting proof of payment and proof of shipment. I have not received any response. Instead, they charged our card (which is NOT an American Express card, another factual error by this person), without shipping the product or sending me a receipt.

"IT IS NOT FRAUD OR FRADULENT IF YOU WERE REFUNDED YOUR MONEY!!!! THIS IS JUST ANOTHER PERSON WITH ALOT OF TIME ON THIER HANDS TRYING TO RUIN A COMPANIES IMAGE AND REPUTATION. AS KIM STATED IN HER COMPLAINT PRIOR TO THIS COMPLAINT WE HAD NONE. SHE IS SINGLE HANDEDLY TRYING TO SMEAR OUR NAME ONLINE. PLEASE CALL US TO DISCUSS THE ISSUE LIKE PROFESSIONALS INSTEAD OF BASHING US ONLINE." Actually, I'm very busy. However I am taking the time out of my day to help ensure others are not ripped off by this fake company. I encourage anyone to TRY to call this company. The number they provide is 1-800-231-7149. Good luck actually getting through to anyone. I’m actually impressed that whoever is responsible for this scam is taking the time to respond. At least I know you’re watching your name to make sure no one calls out your scam, even though you can’t take the time to respond to emails or answer your phone.

I think anyone reading the response from CustomUSBHub will see the truth for themselves. Not only is the response full of grammatical errors, it is also full of factual errors.

I encourage anyone reading this to try to call this company. First of all, you'll get a recording, thanking you for Global Media Consulting. It'll give you options to talk to the company you wish to speak to. No matter which option you select, you get the same recording, telling you to leave a message, or it just disconnects. No one ever answers. I tried calling several times, including just minutes ago. I also email my rep, John David, several times and never received a response. The last response I received was on February 8, telling me the flash drives had shipped. They never did. He also never sent me shipping confirmation as requested, nor a payment receipt as requested. I have emailed him several times since February 8 and he has not responded. Never once did he communicate to me that the shipment would be delayed due to the Chinese New Year. In fact, when we spoke on the phone, he told me their flash drives are manufactured here, in the US. Part of the reason I choose to do business with them.

I would be more than happy to provide all email correspondence between John David and myself as further proof that this company is a scam and is fraudulent. Please do not believe this rebuttal and do not fall for their scam. They will take your money and run, as they did with us.

Also, as it turns out, we are the first to file a complaint because this company is new. They have not been in business for several years, as they claim. Instead, they’ve only been in business for a few months. I’m sure more complaints about this company will follow soon enough.

A Christiansen – If you are a real person and your company is legit, then I encourage you to call me directly to clear this up. Based on your response you have my contact information. I will not respond to you further via this medium. Prove you and your company are real and legit by communicating with me directly.

She seemed fine with this, and we contiued to produce the drives. Then about a week later we received a dispute letter from American express stating that Kim and her Company had disputed the charges as "fraudlent". At that point we refused to ship the goods until the dispute was dropped, this never happened, so simply we will not ship any drives without the payment being made.
