It was time for me to get a my roots touched up I decided to try Cut Loose Hair Salon since they speicalize in Paul Mitchel hair products and dyes. My hair is platium blonde and I told the owner I wanted to stay platuim blonde and that I had about 3 to 4 inches of roots because it had been about 5 months since I had gotten my hair touced up because I was having tyroid promblems and I was worried about my hair getting damgaed from the bleach. She told me that they do not use bleach in there salon at all that they use Paul Mitchell Dual Purpose Lightener and that it would not damgage my hair or turn out yelllow.
I also told her that I had a photo shoot in a week so I did not want my hair to look yellow and I wanted the color to match the rest of my hair. The stylist and the owner said that it would not be a promblem that they could get my hair platium with the Dual Purpose Lightener and then toning it after. I paid $95 and tipped and bought conditner to help keep my hair blonde. They deep condtined it for me too. It was wet when I left and it looked yellow they told me to just use purple shampoo and condinter and that when it dryied it would not be yellow but it was 3 differnt tones of yellowiish color
the next day when I woke up so I called the salon and the had me come in and look and it and the owner said there was nothing she could do she told me it was yellow because I waited so long to wait to get my roots done and to just use purple shampoo and condinter and she curled my hair. I keep using the purple shampoo and condinter and it was still 3 differnt tones of yellow so I went it and talk to one of the hair stylist and they told me to keep using the purlpe shampoo and condinter and I keep trying that for a few more days and it made no differance my hair was stiill just as yellow
so I called and talked to the owner and the hair stlyist who did my hair I told them both that my hair was still 3 differnt tones of yellow and that the purple shampoo and condinter was just turning my hair purple and not getting out the yellow the owner and the hair stylist told me to come on in and that the hair stylist that did my hair could fix it for me. So I came in with in 30 mins after getting off the phone and when I got there the sytlist looked and my hair and seen that it was still really yellow and told me that it needed to be toned I told her that it need to be lifted because the dual purpose lighter did not lift my hair enough and thats why my hair was so yellow
she said she could only tone it and then the salon owner came over and lightly said in my ear that they could fix it but if I wanted it fixed I would have to pay them more money to get it fixed and I said that you did not tell me anything like that over the phone you just told me to come in. The owner told me it was my fault it was yellow and because I waited so long to get my roots done. And got an attudtude and starting cussing at me and saying I was making her mad that I was coming in to the salon so manying times trying to get them to fix my hair.
I told her I either wanted them to fix my hair for free or I wanted my money back and I was not going to pay them anymore money for there mistakes. I have waited that long to get my roots done at other salons and it has not turned out yellow like that and at other salons if they mess up they will at least give you back your money or fix it. This salon owner was not willing to work with she wanted me to pay for her stylist mistakes and did not give me back my money and tryied to over charge me. I found out from other stylist that paul mithcel dual processor only lifts hair up to 4 levels and bleach lifts up to 7 levels
so that is why my hair turned out yellow because the dual processor did not lift my hair enough to lighten to the blonde platium color that the rest of my hair is that is why my hair turned out 3 diffent tones of yellow so paying extra to get it toned would have been a waste of my money. And after the owner cussed me out and was very rude to me I did not want to give anymore money to that salon. And I also found out from other girls I work with that Cut Loose Hair messed up there hair too and over charged them to. I just want to get my money back and want to warn other customers about this salon and about the rude owner. Buyer beware they will not admit there mistakes and will try and charge you for your mistakes and then the owner will be rude to you because you are trying to get them to fix there mistake.

Rude salon

Client had 5 inches of regrowth, can't be fixed with just a toner. Because of the amount of outgrowth, this should be a multiple visit solution. The owner is a national color educator for Paul Mitchell & has been in the industry for over 40 years.
The client fails to mention that she was in the hospital for the previous 4 months due to illness. It is a well known fact that medications can affect the hair & reactions to certain chemicals. We are sorry that she was not happy with her visit, but we stand by our professional integrity.

Client came in and stated she had been in a coma & had thyroid issues, medical issues can definately affect chemical services in the salon.. She had 4-5 inches of regrowth, a typical retouch is done at 1-2 inches & is usually a single process. We used Paul Mitchell Dual purpose lightner which is a bleach that can lift up to 7 levels, but not on level 2 hair, which is what the client has. The owner she refers to has 40+ years as a colorist & 20+ years as a Senior Nat'l Color Educator for Paul Mitchell & NEVER yelled at this client as she claims. Witnesses in the salon at the times referenced can be contacted to verify both the client & stylists conduct.
Client has since been refunded her money for both the service as well as the hair products she purchased. We are sorry we were not able to please her. We have been in business for 20+ years in town & are very competent in our skills.
