CVS Minute Clinic Horrible Physician Southbury CT

I originally visited the clinic in Ansonia CT on 1/25. Good visit, Dx of acute bronchitis and sinus infection. Given ABX and suggested inhaler. Finished round of treatment, felt better a few days when symptom returned. Visited the clinic in Southbury CT due to long wait time in Ansonia. Went right in and was immediately treated poorly. Interrupted, cut off, dismissal. Jabbed the otoscope in my ear after I complained of ear pain, practically choked me during throat swab. Which I might add was not approved by me.

She also charged me for two tests for strep, even after the first was neg, without getting my OK. She then told me I had no signs of infection, again told me about an inhaler, prescribed nasal spray and allergy pills. Proceeded to tell me all the things I was saying were not the case. She admitted I had bulging eardrums and lots of sinus congestion. Told me I was sleeping in a dry room. No, I sleep with a humidifier. Steam no less. Told me I have allergies. No, I do not. Disregarded everything I said. Mind you, I am an LPN.

And paying out of pocket. And all of this while knowing about my visit two weeks ago. I was so frustrated with her, angry even. She refused to give me any antibiotics. I left, ticked off. Went home while my condition worsened. Next morning I was so congested, dizzy, nauseous and in discomfort I made my husband drive me to Stony Creek Urgent Care in Orange CT where I was diagnosed again with bronchitis and sinus infection. Given a longer round of different ABX along with steroids. I was feeling better by bedtime. I will NEVER NEVER return to a Minute Clinic and will be pursuing a refund, while leaving this review on every site I find.
