Had a prescription filled by CVS as my regular pharmacy was closed for the Holiday weekend. Price charged was almost 3 times the amount as paid at my regular pharmacy. When I returned to bring that to the attention of the pharmacy I was told this antibiotic was very expensive. I explained the price difference between between the two pharmacies and they stated they had no control as corporate sets the pricing and my regular pharmacy is independent and free to charge what the wish.

Difference in cost was $22.00 to $66.00 medicine was levequin. Seems to me as large as CVS is they should have stronger buying power than a small independent pharmacy or they just want to rip customers off when the can
